HOLLAND CUTTING SALARIES OF STATE-OWNED COMPANY EXEC'S BY 45%

DUTCH NEWS:

The bosses of a number of companies owned by the Dutch state face salary cuts of up to 45%, acting finance minister Jan Kees de Jager said on Tuesday.

Pay is being cut in the executive ranks at seven out of 14 state-owned firms. The head of the local authorities bank BNG and the national lottery, where starting salaries are high, will see their pay almost halved, De Jager said.

WE NEED SOME OF THIS HERE: GOVERNMENT WORKERS GET PAID DOUBLE WHAT THE SAME JOB GETS IN THE PRIVATE SECTOR.
