The list of recent moves by the Netanyahu government that potentially threaten American interests has grown steadily, many foreign policy experts argue.
The violence that broke out when Israeli commandos stormed aboard a Gaza flotilla last week chilled American relations with a key Muslim ally, Turkey.
The Gaza fight also makes it more difficult for America to rally a coalition that includes Arab and Muslim states against Iran’s nuclear ambitions.
The imam behind a proposed mosque near Ground Zero is a prominent member of a group that helped sponsor the pro-Palestinian activists who clashed violently with Israeli commandos at sea this week.Reuters has confirmed that the Free Gaza Movement, whose supporters include William Ayers, that it's biggest donation came from Perdana. I'd say there's a lot more reason now to protest this mosque atrocity that's being built. A man who would help fund barbarians like what Rauf did cannot and should not be viewed as legitimate.
Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf is a key figure in Malaysian-based Perdana Global Peace Organization, according to its Website.
Perdana is the single biggest donor ($366,000) so far to the Free Gaza Movement, a key organizer of the six-ship flotilla that tried to break Israel’s blockade of the Hamas-run Gaza Strip Monday.
OBAMA HAS ANNOUNCED THIS ON THE DAY THE IDF ESCORTED THE "RACHEL CORRIE" TO ASHDOD WITHOUT INCIDENT - PROVING THAT THE BLOCKADE (A JOINT ISRAELI-EGYPT EFFORT!) IS VERY SUSTAINABLE.President Obama refused to side with Israel after the attack and told Prime Minister Netanyahu to go back to Israel out of concern that the Israeli Prime Minister would use the White House as his backdrop while discussing the flotilla ambush.
Reuters reported:
The White House said on Friday Israel’s blockade of the Gaza Strip was unsustainable and urged a Gaza aid vessel sent by pro-Palestinian activists to divert to an Israeli port to reduce the risk of violence.
“We are working urgently with Israel, the Palestinian Authority, and other international partners to develop new procedures for delivering more goods and assistance to Gaza,” said Mike Hammer, spokesman for the White House National Security Council.
“The current arrangements are unsustainable and must be changed. For now, we call on all parties to join us in encouraging responsible decisions by all sides to avoid any unnecessary confrontations,” Hammer said in a statement.
YnetThe newspaper said that “as part of the open conflict between Turkey and Israel following the massacre against the ‘freedom sail’ to Gaza and the protest sparked in the world, Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan is considering going to Gaza himself in order to break the blockade imposed on the Strip.”…
According to the report, Erdogan told the American administration he was planning to ask his navy to escort another aid flotilla,

Obama's signature definately shows he was Arabic taught.JEREMIAH WRIGHT DID NOT BAPTIZE OBAMA INTO A CHRISTIAN, BUT INTO AN AFRICAN-AMERICAN.
Not knowing the copybook form for Arabic I am somewhat at a disadvantage but again there is threading which slurs the forms.
Any threading is an indication of not wanting to be pinned down, to escape responsibility when things go wrong, to hide the personal self, and of course speed of thought and action.
He could be very creative in his dealings with others.
More than 500 chefs gathered at the White House today to join Michelle Obama's newest effort to fight childhood obesity, Chefs Move To Schools.Whatever happened to "Too many cooks spoil the broth"?
The chefs, including national stars such as Rachael Ray, Tom Colicchio and Cat Cora, and an army of unknowns who work in restaurants, food banks and culinary schools, hailed from 37 states. Each has accepted a White House mission to adopt a school in his or her community and work with parents, teachers and cafeteria workers to educate children about food and nutrition. That might include developing healthful recipes for cafeterias, offering cooking lessons or helping a school to plant a garden.
"You are all at the heart of this initiative because if anyone understands nutrition and food, it's the folks sitting here in their whites today," Obama said, referring to the traditional chef uniform. "You know more about food than almost anyone – other than the grandmas – and you've got the visibility and the enthusiasm to match that knowledge."

At the very least, the combination of chefs and reality-style makeovers is smart marketing by the White House. But if the nearly 1,000 chefs who have signed on to the program catch the same fever as their Washington counterparts, the hope is that the program could spark a real "Food Revolution," Jamie Oliver-style. A thousand forks of light, if you will."A thousand forks of light"? Consciously or unconsciously trying to make a connection to this 1988 speech given by George H.W. Bush, I guess.
The Outlook wasn't brilliant for the Mudville nine that day:Read more about the 1888 poem HERE.
The score stood four to two, with but one inning more to play.
And then when Cooney died at first, and Barrows did the same,
A sickly silence fell upon the patrons of the game.
A straggling few got up to go in deep despair. The rest
Clung to that hope which springs eternal in the human breast;
They thought, if only Casey could get but a whack at that -
We'd put up even money, now, with Casey at the bat.
But Flynn preceded Casey, as did also Jimmy Blake,
And the former was a lulu and the latter was a cake;
So upon that stricken multitude grim melancholy sat,
For there seemed but little chance of Casey's getting to the bat.
But Flynn let drive a single, to the wonderment of all,
And Blake, the much despis-ed, tore the cover off the ball;
And when the dust had lifted, and the men saw what had occurred,
There was Jimmy safe at second and Flynn a-hugging third.
Then from 5,000 throats and more there rose a lusty yell;
It rumbled through the valley, it rattled in the dell;
It knocked upon the mountain and recoiled upon the flat,
For Casey, mighty Casey, was advancing to the bat.
There was ease in Casey's manner as he stepped into his place;
There was pride in Casey's bearing and a smile on Casey's face.
And when, responding to the cheers, he lightly doffed his hat,
No stranger in the crowd could doubt 'twas Casey at the bat.
Ten thousand eyes were on him as he rubbed his hands with dirt;
Five thousand tongues applauded when he wiped them on his shirt.
Then while the writhing pitcher ground the ball into his hip,
Defiance gleamed in Casey's eye, a sneer curled Casey's lip.
And now the leather-covered sphere came hurtling through the air,
And Casey stood a-watching it in haughty grandeur there.
Close by the sturdy batsman the ball unheeded sped-
"That ain't my style," said Casey. "Strike one," the umpire said.
From the benches, black with people, there went up a muffled roar,
Like the beating of the storm-waves on a stern and distant shore.
"Kill him! Kill the umpire!" shouted someone on the stand;
And its likely they'd a-killed him had not Casey raised his hand.
With a smile of Christian charity great Casey's visage shone;
He stilled the rising tumult; he bade the game go on;
He signaled to the pitcher, and once more the spheroid flew;
But Casey still ignored it, and the umpire said, "Strike two."
"Fraud!" cried the maddened thousands, and echo answered fraud;
But one scornful look from Casey and the audience was awed.
They saw his face grow stern and cold, they saw his muscles strain,
And they knew that Casey wouldn't let that ball go by again.
The sneer is gone from Casey's lip, his teeth are clenched in hate;
He pounds with cruel violence his bat upon the plate.
And now the pitcher holds the ball, and now he lets it go,
And now the air is shattered by the force of Casey's blow.
Oh, somewhere in this favored land the sun is shining bright;
The band is playing somewhere, and somewhere hearts are light,
And somewhere men are laughing, and somewhere children shout;
But there is no joy in Mudville - mighty Casey has struck out.
BRUSSELS (AFP) – Belgian police have arrested a suspect after a man pulled a gun during a Brussels court hearing and shot dead a woman judge and court clerk before fleeing, the public prosecutor's office said Friday.The ending line gives reason to wonder if Belgium doesn't have any proper security for their courtrooms, and I'm not just talking about camera tech. What about the metal detectors and guards who actually search people before entering?
"A suspect has been questioned and identified," Jean-Jacques Meilleur, spokesman for the Brussels public prosecutor, told AFP after Thursday's double murder.
A judicial source said that the suspect was a 47-year-old Iranian man who had been identified by witnesses of the courtroom drama that shook Belgium. He reportedly said he had been motivated by revenge.
The prosecutor's office would hold a press conference at 0900 GMT.
Police approached the man in a Brussels park on Thursday evening in order to check his identity, but he pulled out a gun and began shooting in the air, the source said.
The man was wounded by police, arrested, and later identified as a suspect in the killings.
On Thursday morning a man, who had been present throughout the hearing, "pulled out a firearm, a revolver, and fired at the judge and her clerk, killing both," said Jean-Jacques Meilleur, spokesman for the Brussels public prosecutor.
The tribunal had been hearing a family and neighbour dispute case when the shooting happened. The tribunal is close to the imposing Palace of Justice in the heart of the Belgian capital.
The assailant "was briefly pursued by one of the lawyers present but he managed to flee on foot down one of the roads in the area," Meilleur added. A major search was launched for the gunman.
The victims were 60-year-old magistrate Isabelle Brandon and her court clerk Andre Bellemans.
A minute's silence was observed by judges and lawyers in the Palace of Justice later in honour of their deceased colleagues, with some members of the judiciary visibly shocked at the events.
Security in judicial buildings and prisons in Belgium has long been a source of concern, with many escapes in recent years.
Last August, masked men helped three suspects escape the Palace of Justice, taking prison guards hostage in the process.
Around the same time there was a spectacular escape from a prison in the north with the use of a hijacked helicopter.
Just days ahead of snap legislative elections on June 13, the justice minister said he would stop campaigning and called for a debate on security, while ruling out placing security cameras in all courtrooms.
Hamas’s security forces on Monday and Tuesday raided the offices of several non-governmental organizations in the Gaza Strip and confiscated equipment and furniture, drawing sharp condemnations from human rights groups.NOBODY WHO ACCEPTS THE REALITY THAT HAMAS IS A TERRORIST GROUP IS SURPRISED BY THESE ACTIONS.
The sources said the raids were carried out by agents belonging to Hamas’s Internal Security apparatus without court permission.
Hamas spokesmen in the Gaza Strip on Thursday refused to comment on the raids.
After conducting a thorough search of the offices of the organizations, the Hamas security agents confiscated files, documents, computers, fax machines and other equipment.
The agents also informed the managers and workers of the organizations of the Hamas government’s decision to close them down indefinitely.
The Gaza-based Al-Mezan Center for Human Rights expressed outrage over the raids and called on the Hamas government to open an investigation.
... The UN’s special coordinator for the Middle East peace process, Robert Serry, expressed deep concern over the raids and closure of the NGO offices.
“This targeting of NGOs, including UN partner organizations, is unacceptable, violating accepted norms of a free society and harming the Palestinian people,” he said. “The de facto [Hamas] authorities must cease such repressive steps and allow the re-opening of these civil society institutions without delay.”
Muslim Brotherhood says it will back ElBaradei campaign
Egypt's biggest opposition group has said it will back the former UN atomic watchdog chief Mohamed ElBaradei's political change campaign, reports say.
The Muslim Brotherhood failed to win any seats in elections to the upper legislative house on Wednesday.
It alleged the vote for the Shura Council had been rigged.
Mr ElBaradei has launched a campaign for political change in Egypt, but has not officially declared he will contest elections next year.
The Muslim Brotherhood said it would help Mr ElBaradei collect signatures in his efforts to gather a million names to demand changes to the constitution and emergency laws, news agency Reuters said.

New Israeli Tack Needed on Gaza, U.S. Officials Say
WASHINGTON — The Obama administration considers Israel’s blockade of Gaza to be untenable and plans to press for another approach to ensure Israel’s security while allowing more supplies into the impoverished Palestinian area, senior American officials said Wednesday.
The officials say that Israel’s deadly attack on a flotilla trying to break the siege and the resulting international condemnation create a new opportunity to push for increased engagement with the Palestinian Authority and a less harsh policy toward Gaza.
“There is no question that we need a new approach to Gaza,” said one official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the policy shift is still in the early stages. He was reflecting a broadly held view in the upper reaches of the administration.
Israel would insist that any approach take into account three factors: Israel’s security; the need to prevent any benefit to Hamas, the Islamist rulers of Gaza; and the four-year-old captivity of an Israeli soldier held by Hamas, Staff Sgt. Gilad Shalit.
Since the botched raid that killed nine activists on Monday, the Israeli government has said that the blockade was necessary to protect Israel against the infiltration into Gaza of weapons and fighters sponsored by Iran.

... the exact focus of the trip was still being discussed, but "the main proposal will be to have an evaluation of the current situation in political, economic, social terms and also on security matters."
... Last year, the council also authorized the mission to strengthen and expand its presence throughout the country to promote good governance and the rule of law.
... UN diplomats indicated it would likely begin around June 19. The mission will be led by Turkey's UN Ambassador Ertugrul Apakan, whose country has primary responsibility for Afghan matters in the Security Council.

At the present rate, Turkey has about as much business in NATO as Greece does in the EU.WE HAVE BEEN SAYING THIS SINCE JANUARY. AND HERE IN JANUARY, AGAIN.
... The problem with both the EU and NATO is that, while there is always much gala celebration about who gets in and under what particular conditions, there is almost no attention given to the circumstances under which a member gets out of either organization.
As I have already noted, the commanders of this operation – including Defence Minister Ehud Barak – clearly believed the flotilla was merely full of anarchists, leftists and other useful idiots. How can it possibly have happened that they didn’t know the Turkish terrorist IHH were involved? And if they did, how can they have made such a dreadful error of military judgment?Absolutely correct. Even Barak may have a lot to answer to for potentially jeopardizing a lot of soldiers' lives. The commanders also owe an apology to their platoons for screwing up at their end. And we cannot allow a hostile foreign media to get in the way of dealing with barbarians.
...Turkey agreed to take 1200 grams of Iran’s ‘surplus’ uranium for enrichment – thus providing the fig leaf for Iran’s genocide bomb. The IHH are Turkish terrorists linked to al Qaeda. Turkey is now threatening to up the ante by providing a Turkish naval escort for the next Gaza flotilla. Go figure.First, I hope the military is going to be ready to deal with any further terrorist flotillas and to sink their boats if they turn up again. Second, this is a very serious problem regarding Turkey's deals with Iran, because what if Turkey too has nuclear sites in preparation, and could pose an equal threat by launching missiles at Israel and other decent countries.
When the clowns sing about the starving Palestinians. They may be unaware of this:
Via CQ Politics, the latest Gallup poll has Republicans leading Democrats 49 percent to 43 percent on a generic ballot.BIGGEST LEAD EVER.
That is the largest lead Republicans have enjoyed since the poll started in 1950.
“We have been working non-stop for the last twenty-four hours examining the cargo holds of the three large cargo ships and I can say with great assurance, that none of the equipment on board is needed in Gaza.LIKE AL DURA AFFAIR AND JENINGRAD: PURE THEATER.
The equipment that we found is all equipment that we have regularly allowed into the strip over the past year,” said Levi.
“This proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that the whole premise of the voyage was for propaganda and provocation and not for humanitarian purposes.”
THE WEEKLY STANDARD NOTICES FOR THE FIRST TIME, TOO:The US and the European Union cling to the fiction that Turkey's a "westernized Muslim democracy." But Turkey's moving to the east as fast as the Islamist leaders of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) can drag it there.
Turkish leaders visit the West and sing, "Democracy, democracy, democracy!" We coo and clap. Then they go east and cry, "Islam, Islam, Islam!" And we insist they don't mean it.
Then there's Turkey's unfortunate NATO membership. Since the rise of its Islamists, Turkey has been a Trojan horse, not an ally. What happens now if Ankara provokes a military confrontation? How would we respond, given NATO's mutual-defense agreements?
WE'VE BEEN SAYING THIS FOR MONTHS.The most ominous aspect of the flotilla incident is Turkey's involvement. The flotilla bound for Gaza, in violation of the blockade, was allowed to leave a Turkish port. The main sponsor was a Turkish charity known for ties to jihadist groups. The Turkish diplomatic and governmental apparatus sprung into action at the first sign of trouble -- which of course there was, since the "peace activists" onboard the flotilla were masked and armed with lead pipes and knives.
Why is this troubling? Because Turkey is a member of NATO
Call for investigation of Gaza flotilla raid instigated by Turkey.THIS IS JUST A HOLDING MOVE - LIKE MOVING A PAWN - IN PREPARATION FOR SENDING A TURKISH NAVAL SHIP WITH THE NEXT FLOTILLA AND DELIBERATELY ENGAGING THE IDF IN ORDER TO INVOKE NATO ARTICLE 5.
NATO called Tuesday for a "prompt, impartial, credible and transparent investigation" into Monday's Israeli raid on a Gaza-bound aid flotilla that ended with the deaths of nine activists.
Representatives of the alliance's 28 nations met on Tuesday to discuss the incident. Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen demanded the immediate release of the detained civilians and ships held by Israel.
Turkey demanded on Tuesday that the United States condemn the botched Israeli raid on an aid flotilla that ended with Israeli soldiers killing nine activists.A USA-ISRAEL SCHISM IS WHAT THE LEFT HAS WANTED FOR A LONG TIME - AND IT'S WHY THEY WERE A BIG PART OF THE FLOTILLA; THEY WERE THE FLOTILLAS "COVER".Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu told reporters ahead of a meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton that Turkey was disappointed with the Obama administration's response to the raid.
He said that he had scheduled a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Washington on Monday to discuss indirect talks with Syria before Netanyahu canceled his trip Sunday.
The White House has reacted cautiously, asking for disclosure of the full facts about the raid. The killings have put the administration in an awkward position between two allies at a time that it is trying to refocus Middle East peace talks and win new sanctions against Iran in the United Nations Security Council.
In a sign of the sensitivity of the raid on U.S.-Turkish relations, the State Department closed coverage of the meeting to the press. It had previously scheduled a photo opportunity, a venue in which reporters probably would have tried to ask questions.
Before they met, however, Davutoglu was perfectly open about the message he would convey to Clinton.
''I have to be frank: I am not very happy with this statement from Washington yesterday,'' Davutoglu said. ''We expect a clear condemnation.''

If they actually do this, it is the very definition of throwing down.
Wow.
Does Israel want a war with Turkey? They can’t win it, short of using nukes, and Turkey is a NATO member, if Israel attacks NATO ships, Turkey can invoke Article V (in fact, they can invoke it already, since the ships were attacked by a non NATO power on the high seas.) If Turkey does so, of course NATO nations will refuse, but doing so will break NATO.
This is high stakes.
New Delhi: Turkey has threatened Israel with unprecedented action after Israeli forces attacked an aid vessel, killing 10 peace activists headed to Gaza.I PREDICTED THIS HERE - BEFORE THE FLOTILLA LEFT TURKEY.
Israel said 10 people died while those on the ship said at least 15 were killed.
A shocked world has responded with outrage. Turkey recalled its ambassador to Israel and warned of unprecedented and incalculable reprisals.
Two Turkish activists were reported to be among those killed in the flotilla. Ankara warned that further supply vessels will be sent to Gaza, escorted by the Turkish Navy, a development with unpredictable consequences.
Israel has sounded an alert throughout the country fearing rocket attacks by Hezbollah in Lebanon.
The Arab League has called an urgent meeting on Tuesday to decide on a common response. Egypt is under pressure to end the blockade of Gaza while Greece has cancelled a military exercise with Israel.
Unemployment in the eurozone rose again in April to a fresh all-time high, figures from Europe's statistics office have shown.
Eurostat said unemployment in the 16 nations that use the euro now totals 15.86 million - equivalent to 10.1% of the population.
Spain, Ireland and Slovakia recorded the highest rates of joblessness, with the Spanish rate now close to 20%.
Meanwhile, the euro has hit a four-year low against the dollar.
IT'S INSANE FR OBAMA AND HIS COMRADES TO BE TRYING TO MAKE THE USA MORE LIKE EUROPE.
After hours of negotiations, the United Nations Security Council early on Tuesday condemned “acts” resulting in the deaths of nine civilians in Israel’s attack on an aid flotilla trying to breach the Gaza blockade.OBAMA IS AS SUPPORTIVE OF ISRAEL AS HE WAS OF THE STUDENT REBELLION IN IRAN.In a formal statement that seemed less forceful than what had been demanded by Palestinians, Arabs and Turkey the council also demanded an impartial investigation into the incident on Monday.
The statement also urged that aid ships seized in the raid be released along with civilians held by Israel.
“The Security Council deeply regrets the loss of life and injuries resulting form the use of force during the Israeli military operation in international waters against the convoy sailing to Gaza,” the statement said, adding that the 15-member body “in this context, condemns those acts which resulted in the loss” of lives.
The wording seemed designed to dilute demands for condemnation exclusively of Israel, which argues that its soldiers acted in self-defense in response to violent resistance to their interception of the vessels from passengers on board. After the incident, Israel seized hundreds of activists as well as the ships.
“The Security Council requests the immediate release of the ships as well as the civilians held by Israel,” the United Nations statement said on Tuesday , calling for “a prompt, impartial, credible and transparent investigation conforming to international standards.”
It also said the situation in Gaza, under blockade by Israel, was “not sustainable,” and called for a “sustained and regular flow of goods and people to Gaza, as well as unimpeded provision and distribution of humanitarian assistance throughout Gaza.”
OBAMA SUPPORTS THE ENEMIES OF ISRAEL.
OBAMA IS PART OF THE PLAN TO ISOLATE ISRAEL AND SUPPORT HAMAS.
JEWS WHO SUPPORT OBAMA ARE JUDENRAT.

UPDATE #2:Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan told lawmakers in the Parliament that the Israeli military raids on an aid flotilla was an attack ''on international law, the conscience of humanity and world peace.''
''This bloody massacre by Israel on ships that were taking humanitarian aid to Gaza deserves every kind of curse,'' he said, demanding that Israel immediately halt its ''inhumane'' blockade of Gaza.
The flotilla was the ninth attempt by sea to breach the three-year-old blockade Israel and Egypt imposed after the militant Hamas group violently seized the Gaza Strip in 2007, home to 1.5 million Palestinians. Israel allowed five seaborne aid shipments to get through but snapped the blockade shut after its 2009 war in Gaza.
''They have once again showed to the world that they know how good they are at killing people,'' Erdogan said. ''Israel in no way can legitimize this murder, it cannot wash its hand of this blood.''
Erdogan said Turkey would continue to support the Palestinian people.
''We will not turn our back on Palestine, Palestinians and Gaza,'' Erdogan said.
''No one should test Turkey's patience,'' he added. ''Turkey's hostility is as strong as its friendship is valuable.''
Israel will use more aggressive force in the future to prevent ships from breaking the sea blockade on the Gaza Strip, a top Navy commander told The Jerusalem Post on Tuesday.THIS IS WHAT TURKEY WANTS. AND HAMAS. AND IRAN. AND OBAMA.
"We boarded the ship and were attacked as if it was a war," the officer said. "That will mean that we will have to come prepared in the future as if it was a war."

AMERICAN JEWISH COMMUNITY TO RALLY IN SUPPORT OF ISRAEL’S FLOTILLA SELF-DEFENSE
-Hundreds To Gather: Shame on UN For Condemning Israel! We Stand With Israel!-
June 1, 2010 - NEW YORK, NY – RAJE, together with other American Jewish organizations will gather outside of the Israeli Consulate, located at 800 Second Avenue (42nd Street) at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, June 1 to stand in support of Israel’s self-defense. Hundreds will gather waving American & Israeli flags, and bearing signs which read: “Peace Activists Don’t Attack Soldiers,” “Hamas & Al Qaeda Support the Flotilla”, and “We Stand with Israel.”
“We will gather to stand united with the State Of Israel, and to let President Obama, and the world know that we will not sit silently as Israel is attacked by her enemies. We stand with Israel in their battle against terrorism. Israel has the right to stop terror at its door, and we condemn the United Nations for standing with terrorists. These so-called peace activists used knives, clubs and fire from weapons stolen from soldiers, and attacked soldiers who were seeking to enforce international law. The boats were warned to change course multiple times, and we as the American Jewish community will not stand silently as Israel is attacked,” said Rabbi Mordechai Tokarsky, Chairman of RAJE (Russian American Jewish Experience).

In their last report before the United Nations Security Council votes on sanctions against Iran, international nuclear inspectors declared Monday that Iran has now produced a stockpile of nuclear fuel that experts say would be enough, with further enrichment, to make two nuclear weapons.THE USA SHOULD ATTACK IRAN BEOFRE THE MAKE THESE 2 NUKES.
CAIRO – Egypt on Friday declared renegade British lawmaker George Galloway persona non grata, accusing him of incitement after his harsh criticism of Cairo over delays in an aid convoy's entry into Gaza, the foreign ministry said Friday.
"George Galloway is considered persona non grata and will not be allowed to enter into Egypt again," a Foreign Ministry statement said. The activist left Egypt Friday morning from Cairo airport.
Earlier, British press reported Galloway had been deported from Egypt. They said he was forcefully taken by police from the Rafah crossing with Gaza to Cairo airport where he was put on departing British Airways plane.
Galloway led more than 500 activists as part of an international aid convoy to Gaza. They entered late Gaza Wednesday from Egypt after a month traveling. Egypt gave them only 24 hours in the blockaded sea side strip before it said it would reclose the crossing.Note how stringent Egypt is about their border with Gaza. In fact, doesn't it seem they treat the Gaza border in the exact same manner as Israel? Why do you think that is? Could it be that the Palestinians really are a murderous and malevolent population?
RIYADH: The Egyptian ambassador to Saudi Arabia has dismissed allegations that a steel underground wall being built by his country on its border with the Gaza Strip is aimed at starving local Palestinian people or forcing them to support any resumption of peace talks with Israel.
Mahmoud Ouf issued the denial at the launch of the new Egyptian Cultural Center in Riyadh on Wednesday night. “Forced starvation is not possible because 95 percent of Gaza’s food, medicine and electricity do not come through these tunnels, but via crossing points along the border with Israel,” he said.
