US says Iranians witnessed N.Korea missile testI said this to friends at the time (7/4 - and meant to blog it - because NO ONE else had thought of it, but I got wrapped up in the holiday, and neglected to). I felt so at the time because I believed that it explained why the NOKO's felt they just HAD to do the test when they did: there is a close relationship between these two regimes of the axis of evil, and the NOKO's need cash and need to sell weapons to get some. Iran has cash and needs weapons. [Thanks to Gandalin for sending me the news.]

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - One or more Iranians witnessed North Korea's recent missile tests, deepening U.S. concerns about growing ties between two countries with troubling nuclear capabilities, a top U.S. official said on Thursday.
Asked at a U.S. Senate hearing about reports that Iranians witnessed the July 4 tests, Assistant Secretary of State Chris Hill, the chief U.S. negotiator with Pyongyang, replied: "Yes, that is my understanding" and it is "absolutely correct" that the relationship is worrisome.
