PERSON OF INTEREST IN BOSTON JIHAD ATTACKS FBI AGENT AND IS GUNNED DOWN

Florida's WESH (via Michelle Malkin) tells that a man who knew Tamerlan Tsarnaev tried to attack an FBI investigator and was shot dead:

According to NBC News, a special agent was interviewing the suspect regarding his connections to bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev and other extremists. The suspect, identified by the FBI as Ibragim Todashev, was originally cooperative, but he was shot after attacking the agent, NBC News reported.

The man studied martial arts and was planning to fly back to Chechnya:

Khusen Taramov says the day that federal agents identified the Tsarnaev brothers as the Boston bombing suspects, FBI agents came to the apartment complex and started questioning a few people of Chechnyan descent. “One day they started questioning us, next day after the bombing, not the bombing, after they found out the bombers were Chechnyans, and they started following us, watching us, they pretty much told the guy from his apartment and they start following us, watching us like everyday,” said Taramov.

Taramov says Todashev met Tamerlan Tsarnaev in Boston and the two had hung out a few times.

Taramov says Todashev met with FBI agents last night and it was supposed to be their last meeting because he was planning to fly back to Chechnya last night. He says the plane ticket was purchased before the Boston bombings but federal agents strongly advised him not to go home.

“He cancelled the tickets because, the FBI had been like, I don’t know, they’ve been pushing him, you know what I’m saying. They’ve been pushing him they say don’t leave; don’t leave so he decided to stay. But we had a feeling, worst case scenario something like that was going to happen. You know what I mean,” said Taramov.

The FBI has not identified the man killed but says the agent was working on a case inside the apartment complex when the shooting happened. “We are currently responding to a shooting incident involving an FBI special agent. The incident occurred in Orlando Florida. The agent encountered the suspect while conducting official duties. The suspect is deceased. We do not have any further details at this time. We expect to have more information later this morning,” said FBI spokesperson Special Agent Dave Couvertier.

The highlights indicated that McDonough’s main concern was the information about the prior CIA warnings to U.S. diplomatic missions in North Africa — information that was included at Petraeus’s request. 

... At 7:39 p.m. Friday, Victoria Nuland, then the State Department’s chief spokesperson, e-mailed deputy national security adviser Benjamin J. Rhodes, Jake Sullivan, director of policy planning at State, and CIA spokesman Shawn Turner, among others, with “serious concerns” about including Ansar and mentioning “warnings” in the talking points. 

Nuland said the mention of the warnings “could be abused by members to beat the State Department for not paying attention to Agency warnings.”

There is ample proof that it is a lie. First, Mussolini and Hitler called themselves socialists and their policies put the state - in league with corporations and unions - above the individual. Secomd, the traditional political spectrum is illogical: if the extreme left is communists and the extreme right is fascist, then where do you put anarchists? There is no logical place for them. An intellectually honest political spectrum puts the communists and fascists and nazis all on the extreme left and anarchists in the extreme right.

Keynesian liberals are statists with more  in common with the REACTIONARIES OF THE LEFT - Stalin and Hitler and Mussolini -  than they have in common with the REAL REVOLUTIONARIES who fought against tyranny and for liberty and limited government - Washington, Jefferson, JFK or Reagan.

And like Stalin and Hitler and Mussolini, their polices fail to deliver the goods and are destined for the cesspool of history. Senior White House staff knew of the ongoing investigation into the IRS's targeting of conservative groups ahead of the release of a report from a Treasury Department inspector general, White House press secretary Jay Carney said Monday, but held off on informing the president to wait for a final report. With the knowledge of an investigation, the White House held to a "cardinal rule" that it should not get involved in an external investigation, Carney said during his daily briefing. "No one in this building intervened in an ongoing independent investigation or did anything that could be seen as intervening," he said. 

"To the chagrin of some who would have liked us to get more in front of this, we appropriately waited," Carney later added.

White House counsel Kathy Ruemmler was informed of the IG's audit on April 24, Carney said, and was told that the audit was nearing its conclusion and that a report would be forthcoming indicating that several IRS employees were involved in targeting groups with "tea party" and "patriot" in their names for additional scrutiny. ...  

... Ruemmler did inform White House chief of staff Denis McDonough's office of the investigation, Carney said, and other senior staff were also told of the report.

DR. YEHUDA DAVID GLAD THAT REPORT REFUTING AL-DURA HOAX PUBLISHED

Dr. Yehuda David, who was sued by the father of Mohammed al-Dura for letting everyone know he'd given him medical treatment for which he was only thanked with spite, is satisfied with the Israeli government's report confirming that the video was a hoax:

Dr. Yehuda David, who was sued for libel by the father of Muhammad al-Dura – and eventually won his case – expressed great satisfaction at the issuing of a report by a special report by a government panel that revisited the infamous incident, in which IDF soldiers were accused of killing the 12 year old Arab boy at the start of the second intifada. The committee determined that not only were the allegations – and a report by French television purporting to show IDF soldiers shooting and killing the boy – a lie, but that the al-Dura is not even dead.

According to David, the whole incident stinks of a coverup – and the evidence that shows that not only was al-Dura not killed, but that the entire story was a hoax, perpetrated with the assistance of a French television station, is there for all to see. [...]

David, a physician at Tel Hashomer hospital near Tel Aviv, entered the al-Dura fray on December 13, 2007 when he told Israel's Channel 10 that he had treated Jamal in 1994 for knife and axe wounds to his arms and legs sustained during an Arab gang attack. David said the scars Jamal claimed as bullet wounds from the 2000 incident were actually scars from a tendon repair operation that David performed in 1994, leading Jamal to sue him for libel. He was initially convicted of a charge, but that decision was overturned by the French Supreme Court in February 2012. The decision was widely seen as a national victory for Israel.

The new report also questions whether or not the younger al-Dura was even killed. The fact that he was still alive at the end of the French television video, after the gunfire had stopped, could mean that the boy is alive even now. “Since this issue was first raised there have been many contradictions and cold trails, based on the story the French television company told. There are many unanswered questions about many aspects of this incident,” the committee said.

According to David, the answer to this question is clear, and is supported by evidence. “We know that a child whose name is Mohammed al-Dura was taken to Shifa Hospital in Gaza at 9 AM,” David told Arutz Sheva, relying on publicly released information. “We know that the event in which it was claimed that the child was killed actually only began at 3 in the afternoon. So how is it possible that there was a dead child at 9 AM, and they want us to believe that it is the same child who was shot by Israeli soldiers at 3:00?”

So who was the child in the famous video? Most likely a brother of Mohammed, David said. There is a great deal of evidence to suggest this already, David said: According to the results of an investigation by a German group, for example, the shape of the skull of the buried child was different than the shape of the skull of the child seen in the video. The real identity of the child could be confirmed by disinterring him. David is willing to bet that the child will turn out to be the “real” Mohammed al-Dura, the one who died in Shifa Hospital in the morning, as opposed to the “fake” one – the one seen in the video, who is alive and well.

David said that it was regrettable that it had taken the state so long to take a definitive stance on the hoax. “Now we know that Prime Minister Netanyahu and the Israeli government acknowledge the truth – that Jamal al-Dura is a liar, and that all the information supplied by France 2 during the event on Septerm 30, 2000, is a hoax. This has caused a tremendous sacrifice of Israeli lives, because it was the beginning of the second intifada, which led to the loss of 2,500 Israeli lives,” he said, including the victims of the 2012 attack by a Muslim fanatic on a Jewish school in Toulouse, France, who specifically said he was “avenging” the death of al-Dura.

Could it be? A sibling was seen in the video?

The reason it took so long can also be blamed on Ehud Olmert, who made no effort on his part to combat this when he was prime minister. Enderlin owes an apology for his cowardly suits against Phillipe Karsenty and failing to admit he's capable of making mistakes, and should be thrown out of journalism altogether.

"Criminal charges should be filed, and Charles Enderlin should never be allowed to practice journalism in Israel again,” asserted Nitsana Darshan-Leitner, director of Shurat HaDin Israel Law Center, in response to a report released Sunday by the Israeli government, which found France 2's claims that IDF troops killed Mohammed al-Dura in 2000 as baseless.

“The fact the al-Dura story has turned out to be a hoax should cause us to take action against those who invented and spread this staged fable. Israel's Government Press Office should also revoke France 2's credentials," she said. [...]

A most obscene spectacle spotted in Gush Etzion:

Hundreds of residents of Gush Etzion, south of Jerusalem, were astounded Monday morning to see an oversized Nazi flag flying next to a mosque in the Arab town of Beit Omar.

The residents notified the IDF.

A resident, Uri Arnon, told the Tazpit News Agency: "I felt we were going back 75 years, losing our hold on the land. The Arabs no longer feel the need to hide their murderous tendencies, announcing out loud that they wish to annihilate us."

An IDF spokesman said that the flag was hung on an electrical line, and that they were waiting to professionals to come and remove it.

No doubt they were showing their support for Haj-Amin el-Husseini, the mufti who collaborated with the nazis during WW2.

Islam is often perceived as a religion antithetical to British, secular values. But between 2001-2011, more than 100,000 British people converted to Islam. This may come as a surprise, especially considering the virulent climate of Islamophobia supposedly pervading the country in the shadow of 9/11. Yet, while Muslims may rejoice at the news of many British people flocking to Islam, little is known about the large proportion of converts who later become apostates.

“Many converts leave the faith. We don't have exact statistics but some stats say 50 per cent will leave within a few years,” says Usama Hasan, a part-time Imam and a senior researcher at the counter extremism think-tank, the Quilliam Foundation.

The internet, in particular, Twitter, provides ex-Muslims, often with pseudonymous accounts, a safe haven to challenge, criticise and mock Islam. The Council of Ex-Muslims of Britain (CEMB), founded six years ago, was set up by a group of non-believers and acts as a community for those who have renounced their faith.

There are, of course, a multitude of reasons why someone might become an apostate after converting. Many British women convert when marrying a Muslim man, but, when the relationship ends, they sometimes leave the faith. (The same rarely happens in reverse, as the consensus of scholars believes a Muslim woman marrying a non-Muslim man is against the Sharia.) Some converts don’t receive the community support upon entering the faith. While others can be referred to as “drifters”: they experiment with different lifestyles. However, many ex-Muslims cite bad experiences with Muslims in their stories of how they came to renounce the faith.

More of which can be read in the article. This is a bright spot in a sea of sadness that is the UK these days. And if converts could leave in the UK, the same doubtlessly holds true in many other parts of the world. Unfortunately, there's likely still quite a few converts who remain there, and it wouldn't surprise me if they turned out to be the ones we need to be most wary of.

ISRAELI COMMITTEE CONFIRMS AL-DURA WAS ALIVE AT THE END OF FALSE VIDEO

The Israeli government set up a committee to investigate the al-Dura hoax, and they verify:

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu received a government report Saturday, presenting the findings of a special governmental inquiry committee into the death of Muhammad al-Dura during the al-Aqsa Intifada. The report focuses on the controversial September 2000 France 2 broadcast – in which the boy is seen hiding behind his father while the two were under IDF gunfire – and conclude that al-Dura was still alive at the end of the video.

According to the committee findings, in contrary to what had been published before, there was no evidence that the boy or his father were injured at the time the video was shot, thereby noting there was reasonable doubt regarding IDF's responsibility to the boy's death.

Upon receiving the committee's findings, Netanyahu said that "focusing on this incident is important as it slandered Israel and serves as an example for the delegitimization Israel constantly faces.

"There is only one way to fight lies," the prime minister concluded, "and that is with the truth."

According to the committee, France 2 framed the story as if at the time of its broadcast there was concrete evidence supporting the claim that the boy had died as a result of IDF gunfire, despite the fact that at the time, the responsibility for Al-Dura's death was still disputed, thus putting into question the entire credibility of the news report.

The committee, formed in 2012, was first headed by now Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon, and concluded its inquiry recently under the chairmanship of Yuval Steinitz.

Steinitz also commented on the report saying "This was a blood-libel against Israel. The French report was simply false."

If there's anyone who predictably won't accept the results of the investigation, it's one of the relatives, who's just too consumed by his own bigotry. INN suggests it's possible that al-Dura is still alive, and if he was killed, we have to wonder if he was eaten by his own, turning him into a sacrifice so that the hoax wouldn't be found out so easily.

The Times of Israel says:

“Contrary to the report’s claim that the boy was killed, the committee’s review of the raw footage showed that in the final scenes, which were not broadcast by France 2, the boy is seen to be alive,” the Ministry of International Affairs and Strategy report stated regarding the television report.

Charles Enderlin and France 2 would do well to climb off their high horse and stop acting like they never have to say they're sorry. They'd do a lot better to admit they're capable of making mistakes, and Enderlin should have his press pass here revoked.

FACEBOOK PROMOTES SEGREGATION OF JERUSALEM

Danielle Avel, a former analyst with the Investigative Project on Terrorism found out that Facebook's been following in the footsteps of Yahoo and Google in promoting a divided Jerusalem, for the sake of a palestinian state. Not only that:

Facebook did not respond to my requests to clarify and/or comment on its incorrect use of “East Jerusalem.”

They won't even explain themselves, shutting out any who question their beliefs. No wonder I'm not bothered I don't own a Facebook account with them to date.
