USA Today villified Gold Star families rightfully offended by Biden's ignorance

Newsbusters pointed to a most repellent smear attack at USA Today against families of Gold Star army members who were murdered in Afghanistan, and whom Biden desecrated by paying little attention to while checking his watch far more, as though he were far more interested in going elsewhere than offering condolences (and if he did, the families clearly didn't accept, nor did they have to):
As NewsBusters reported earlier this week, Gold Star fathers of two of the Marines killing at the Kabul airport during the Afghanistan evacuation spoke out against President Biden in outrage of him disrespecting their sons and looking at his watch during the dignified transfer. Well, on Wednesday, a Biden sycophant at USA Today named Daniel Funke decided he was going to try to drag those grieving families through the mud with a so-called “fact-check” about their story, but he was forced to retract his smear the very next day after it was proven false.

[...] His initial designation was that the claims Biden had disrespectfully looked at his watch multiple times were “partly false.” But yet, the next day, USA Today was forced to issue a correction in the face of overwhelming evince they were lying. Of course, they only issued a half-hearted revision, suggesting the claims were “missing context”:
More at the site. I hesitate to think what contempt the journalist could have for 9-11 Families, if this is how he treats relatives of army officials who lost their lives as the result of horrific incompetence. This is exactly why the war against Islamic terrorism has been a fiasco in the long run.

While we're on the topic, UK military veteran Richard Kemp also took issue with Biden, and the disaster he and his staff have caused:
In an exclusive interview with Breitbart News on Thursday, former commander of British forces in Afghanistan Colonel Richard Kemp blasted President Biden’s exit from Afghanistan, claiming it was worse than 9/11 and calling it “the greatest victory for jihadists” and “a blow for American prestige” which won’t recover for decades.

Kemp also warned of new threats in the wake of unfolding events there, including another refugee crisis and emboldened adversaries such as Iran, Russia, and China.

The former commander who led British forces in Afghanistan in 2003 and later joined the committee supervising the country’s intelligence services, began by describing the unfolding events in Afghanistan as “the greatest foreign affairs and military catastrophe since the Second World War, without a doubt.”

“If you combine the Vietnam fiasco and Suez [Crisis] for the British, it’s worse than the two of those combined in its magnitude and its implications,” he stated.
As has been noted previously by other experts, one of the worst things about this case is that it could lead to more tragedies on US soil, which, come to think of it, is exactly what Antifa and BLM have been doing recently too. Incidentally, Biden even falsely claimed he'd visited the Pittsburgh synagogue that was attacked, but they say he didn't.

Nigel Farage predicts this'll have a very negative effect on UK relations with the US:
The United Kingdom will not follow America into another war so long as President Joe Biden is in power, Brexit leader Nigel Farage has predicted.

Appearing on the American network Newsmax, Mr Farage said that Mr Biden’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan has damaged the special relationship between the UK and the U.S.

“Ever since 1917, when America entered the First World War, for over 100 years, we have been beside each other in virtually every major conflict. We have shed together much blood, spent much treasure in fighting for liberty, democracy, and freedom around the world and thank goodness we have,” he said.

However, Mr Farage declared that trust between the long-time allies has broken down after Mr Biden made the unilateral decision to swiftly pull out of Afghanistan without consulting allies in the UK and refusing to take the phone call from Prime Minister Boris Johnson for forty hours as the Taliban recaptured the country.

“Any new military ventures that America asks us to engage in we simply will not do with this man in charge. Not only is the special relationship between our two countries in tatters, I can’t even see a future for NATO,” the Brexiteer said.
Of course, let's not forget that the UK hasn't done much back at home to protect their society from Islamofascism, so while it's understandable they'd rather not do business with the US in its current state, it does little to alleviate the horrible situation with Islam in the UK and Europe. For now, what Biden and company did has led to shattered relations with many good people.
