SIMPLE PROOF THAT TRUMP IS UNTRUSTWORTHY, AND DOESN'T DESERVE SUPPORT

Trump has said he might break his pledge not to run as an independent.

Trump is thus admitting his pledges count for shit.

On top of this, is the well known fact that he has been divorced twice; which means he twice broke his promise to the person he was closest to.

IF TRUMP CANNOT BE TRUSTED TO KEEP HIS MARRIAGE VOWS OR HIS PUBLICLY MADE PROMISE NOT TO RUN AS AN INDEPENDENT, THEN HE CANNOT BE TRUSTED TO KEEP ANY OF HIS CAMPAIGN PROMISES.

Given these facts, anyone who votes for Trump is throwing away their vote on a person who would be a wild card as president - one who recently supported Hillary.

I won't throw away my vote.

You sir, need a refresher in contract law. The pledge was given in return for full support of the GOP in the event he wins the nomination. Failure on the part of the GOP to honor their pledge will in turn void what was promised by the other party to the pledge. How about we wait and see what really occurs before denigrating and casting aside perfectly good candidates that can win. And none of them are perfect, no President has ever been so, perhaps with the exception of the first.

Business mogul and presidential candidate Donald Trump announced Friday he signed the loyalty pledge that the Republican National Committee has demanded of its candidates

(Reuters)

By Robert Costa September 3

Donald Trump on Thursday signed a loyalty pledge to the Republican Party -- and, with that, the renegade candidate became a little less of a renegade and a party establishment unsure of what to do with the bedeviling front-runner brought him more fully into its embrace.

The document the GOP presidential front-runner signed promises that he will support the Republican nominee in next year’s general election, effectively ruling out a third-party or independent run.

“I will be totally pledging my allegiance to the Republican Party and the conservative principles for which it stands,” Trump said at an event at Trump Tower in New York, surrounded by backers holding “TRUMP” posters next to the skyscraper’s steep elevators. He held up the single sheet of paper with his name scribbled in thick black marker.

He said that he sees “no circumstances under which I would tear up that pledge. ... I have no intention of changing my mind.”

So, he signed a pledge .... he has a MORAL obligation to keep it. Does trump have any morals? We will soon find out, because trump is going to lose iowa and nh and sc. If he doesnt drop out, and if he runs as an indpendent, then we shall see him for what he is, an amoral, self serving piece of shit.

And contrary to what the donald now CLAIMS, the pledge is a one way pledge which says nothing about "being treated in an honorable way by the gop". That is pure bullshit. A claim Trump has fabricated and is lying about in order to create some space for him to break his promise. Here is a link to the pdf of the pledge he swore to uphold:

Trump is a liar and a knave. Folks who trust him are dupes

I'm having trouble figuring out who is more duplicitous; Donald Trump or the leadership structure of the GOP.

I think the GOP needs to go the way of the Whigs. The quicker the better for the nation.

Donald Trump is an infatuation, a fling for the populace. He is the good looking dude your ex-girlfriend brings to the party to fuck with your head right after you break up with her.

That's what he is for the voters.

They are not serious about him. He's just their way of fucking with the GOP's heads.

Because everyone knows the GOP is gone.

The only candidate they have is Cruz, but they want Bush or Romeny or Rubio. They want they want they want.

They want what they want, but whatever that is, it has nothing to do with what the people want.

Enough already.

If McCain wasn't enough to show us they have contempt for us, then what do we need?

Wasn't it just the GOP that was having a meeting about a brokered convention ? But it's trumps fault for saying what he said. No matter, GOP is a waste any ways, just democrat light. You sir, can go ahead and mark me down for one of your wasted votes !
