If she did it the right way, I agree. What's the right way? She has to say that Newt is the one with real positions, and that Newt "signs on" with Palin's ideas of crony capitalism and working towards a TRUE cleaning up of DC and the political world of America. Newt has to agree, loudly, publicly...it might not change anything, but maybe Newt WOULD buy that program and become the real leader we need. He has the brains, but he needs her steel and her zeal for doing the right thing.
Funny today that I spoke with someone and said that if we had a candidate with the brains of Newt and the fiery anticorruption and do-what's-best-for-the-country common sense and charisma of a Palin, we'd have an unbeatable candidate.
So yeah, a Palin endorsement but based on Newt at least publicly "signing on" to her ideas, not just her saying "I endorse..."...it needs a genuinely intelligent response from Gingrich, who will have to fight his reputation as the ultimate RINO in some ways (NY 23 was it?)...but I think he is smart enough to see the writing on the wall.
Well, I can hope...damn, Newt IS smart though...common sense? Let's see what happens.
