ALL THIS DEBATE IS ACCOMPLISHING -
BECAUSE OF THE STUPID FORMAT,
AND THE PRESENCE OF THE UTTERLY UN-PRESIDENTIAL HUNTSMAN AND PAUL AND BACHMANN AND CAIN AND SANTORUM -
IS THE TARNISHING THE GOP BRAND.
WHICH IS WHAT CNN AND THE MSM WANT.
MY QUESTION IS:
WHY IS THE GOP PLAYING ALONG?

The national campaign will be the same. The liberals will control all the debates and do their best to make the Republican candidate look foolish. In that regard, these preliminary debates are vehicles for training Republican candidates for what lies ahead in the general election. They're honing their rhetorical skills for what will undoubtedly come next.
