Is Pakistan collapsing in front of our eyes? Yes!

This comes on the heels of Zadari's coalition collapsing...
Prominent Ally of Pakistan President Is Shot Dead

The governor of Pakistan’s most important and populous province was assassinated by an elite police guard in Islamabad on Tuesday, plunging the already unstable national government into an even deeper crisis. It was the highest-profile killing of a Pakistani leader since Benazir Bhutto was gunned down at a political rally three years ago.

... Mr. Taseer had also been embroiled in a recent debate over Pakistan’s contentious blasphemy law.

While Mr. Taseer supported its repeal, religious parties strongly opposed any changes.
HE WAS MURDERED BY THE ISLAMISTS IN THE NAME OF ISLAM.

THESE PAKISTANI ISLAMISTS ARE NOT THE APOSTATES; THEY ARE DOING WHAT MOHAMED WOULD'VE DONE.

THESE PAKISTANI EXTREMISTS ARE NO MORE EXTREME THAN WAS MOHAMED.

IF THEY ARE TWISTING ISLAM THEN SO WAS HE - AND I DOUBT THE FOU8NDER OF ISLAM WAS A "MISUNDERSTANDER" OF ISLAM, (TO BORROW SPENCER'S [PHRASE).

I THINK PAKISTAN WILL EITHER COLLAPSE THIS YEAR OR RETURN TO A MILITARY JUNTA.

THE LATTER IS PREFERABLE. EVEN WITH MUSHARRAF. WE SHOULD BE ENCOURAGING THE PAKISTANI MILITARY TO STAGE A COUP - OR AT LEAST SIGNAL TO THEM WE WON'T OBJECT.

YES: THE THREAT POSED BY JIHADISTS IN PAKISTAN IS THAT GRAVE.

Hi.
Yes i believe also that the situation is evolving quickly, still i see the hands of Iran and Turkey in this quickly deteriorating situation.Perhaps the return of Musharraf wouldn't be such a bad thing. The man to watch is General Ashfaq Kayani "No one can separate Islam from Pakistan as the country was achieved in its name".I think he will take power if the situation becomes to volotile.Will.
