Iranian President lays claim to Lebanon's southern border which he will visit during official tour; Lebanese official calls visit "a provocation."AFP/HURRYIET DAILY (TURKEY):
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad plans to visit what he has reportedly called "Iran's border with Israel" during a trip to Lebanon later this month, referring to the Lebanese southern border.
Ahmadinejad is due to spend two days holding meetings and traveling the country over the course of an official tour beginning October 13th.
... Hizbullah operatives are reportedly providing security for the Iranian president on his trip to Lebanon.
IRAN - VIA HAMAS AND HIZBALLAH AND SYRIA - AIMS TO GET CONTROL OF THE HOLY LAND FOR SHIA RADICALISM."The message is that Iran is at the border with Israel," Fares Souaid, coordinator of the March 14 Alliance, told AFP. "Ahmadinejad through this visit is saying that Beirut is under Iranian influence and that Lebanon is an Iranian base on the Mediterranean," said Souaid, whose coalition is led by the Western- and Saudi-backed premier. "His visit to the south would be a provocation, he doesn't need to go there," he added.
Souaid also pointed out Ahmadinejad was coming to Beirut at a time when the West is bidding to rescue fledgling, U.S.-backed peace negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians. "The Iranian president is here to say that Lebanon is a land of resistance and to reaffirm his project of a continuous war with Israel," he said.

Obama - like his predecessor - is neither Muslim nor Christian: his religion is MONEY .. hence his alliance with Saudi Arabia, the greatest exporter of terror in the region (and beyond). consider the 200 year old Wahhabi cult, cousin-in-law to the Taliban and al-Qaeda. and America just inked a $60 Billion arms deal with these clowns? the U.S. needs to make clear to the Saudis that we will no longer function as their mercenary force, opposing Islam's Shia minority at every turn. the problem is the Wahhabists, our enemy the House of Saud.
