PROOF THAT DENIAL OF BUILDING PERMITS FOR RELIGOUS BUILDINGS IS NOT ABOUT DENYING "RELIGIOUS FREEDOM"

WZ: Obama: No, Wait a Minute. I do Endorse THAT Ground Zero Mosque.

The Great Orator’s oratory is now spinning around like the handle on a shi&house door on this one:

“Just to be clear,”:

At the iftar dinner, Obama cast his vote with the mosque builders. And then he pulled back.

And then he had his spokesman pull back the pullback.

“Just to be clear, the president is not backing off in any way from the comments he made last night,” the White House’s Bill Burton said Saturday.

“It is not his role as president to pass judgment on every local project. But it is his responsibility to stand up for the Constitutional principle of religious freedom and equal treatment for all Americans.

What he said last night, and reaffirmed today, is that if a church, a synagogue or a Hindu temple can be built on a site, you simply cannot deny that right to those who want to build a mosque.”

ARGUING THE MOSQUE MUST BE BUILT BECAUSE DENYING IT IS AN ATTACK ON RELIGIOUS FREEDOM - AS OBAMA AND HIS COMRADES ARE ARGUING - IS TFBS.

PROOF:
NONE OF THESE CASES DENIED ANYONE'S FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS; THEY WERE ABOUT ZONING ISSUES.

HOFT: THE GOP GETS IT:
Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) told FOX News Sunday this morning that the victory mosque will be a campaign issue this fall. Barack Obama supports a mosque at Ground Zero along with only 20% of voters.
The Hill reported:

The chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee believes the mosque set to be built near ground zero in New York City will be a campaign issue this fall.

“It demonstrates that Washington, the White House, the administration, the president himself, seems to be disconnected from the mainstream of America,” John Cornyn (Texas), said on Fox News Sunday. “I think that’s one of the reasons why people are so frustrated.”

President Obama on Friday spoke out in favor of the group’s right to build blocks from where the World Trade Center stood. He and the White House later clarified his remarks to indicate that he did not offer support for the “wisdom” behind their decision.

“This is not about freedom of religion,” Cornyn said. “I do think it’s unwise to build a mosque in the site where 3,000 Americans lost their lives as the result of a terrorist attack.”

Voters “sense that they’re being lectured to, not listened to” by Democrats, he said. “The American people will render their verdict.”

WRAPPING UP THE GROUND ZERO MOSQUE IN THE CLOAK OF THE 1ST AMENDMENT IS SUBTERFUGE.

DECEITFUL, DHIMMI-ESQUE BS.

TFBS.

THE PEOPLE WILL NOT BE DUPED.

OBAMA AND HIS COMRADES WILL GET THE MESSAGE THIS NOVEMBER!

Thank you! It's about time someone started explaining how Obama's position is not morally, ethically, legally, or politically correct. And what the heck is the "Constitutional principle of religious freedom and equal treatment for all Americans"- isn't Obama a lawyer or something- is he talking about 'free exercise' and 'equal protection under the laws'? No more mishmash Mr. President- say what you mean and mean what you say.
