8000 COME TO PROTEST THE MOSQUE AT GROUND ZERO

The rally against the planned mosque near Ground Zero, whose head honcho of an imam has connections with the flotilla monstrosity, has taken place in NYC, and at least 8000 people came to attend. Jihad Watch and One Jerusalem have more.

Update: here's an article from Israel National News, which tells:
Dr. Babu Suseelan, a Hindu human rights activist told the crowd, "We Hindus and Sikhs have a story to tell. Islamists killed 80 million of us since 700 AD and they continue to kill us. They destroyed 3000 glorious temples and built mosques over them. In the last 60 years, Islamists in Pakistan wiped out infidel Hindu and Sikh populations. At one time we represented 25 percent of the population and now we are less that 1 percent.

“Know this: The 9/11 mosque is not a symbol of understanding. It is a symbol of conquest. Imam Rauf is a master of Taqiyya, which is the use of deception to forward the agenda of Islam. What Faisal Shahzad failed to accomplish in Times Square on May 1st with overt jihad, Imam Rauf will succeed with stealth jihad."
Taqiyya is something to take careful note about, otherwise, it could destroy us all.

Update 2: on the other hand, here's a short but quite insulting article from the NY Daily News that tries to downplay the rally by implying it was only 1000 people who came when it was much more than that, and even throws in a swipe at the Tea Party:
But the proposed mosque has also drawn criticism, including a blast from a Tea Party bigwig who said it would serve as a tribute to the 9/11 terrorists "for the worship of the terrorists' monkey-god."
"Bigwig"? That's rather insulting, I'd say. However, the monkey-god part is right, if it's Mohammed he was talking about.

Update 3: better article from North Jersey.

I've been reading on the web yesterday and today that TV news coverage of the demonstration has been AWOL. Thus, many won't even know what's going on with the mosque and the objections to it.
