Boxer Uses Nuclear Option to Push Crap-'n-Tax Through Committee

All Republicans abstained and Baucus even voted against it.

Inhofe was quoted as saying, “In the history of this committee, we have not been able to find a time when the bill has been marked up without minority.”

The Dems knew it was garbage, even by their standards, which was why Baucus abstained. They could not work on it because of the Republican boycott. Environment and Public Works Committee rules require that one third of the minority party be present.
Boxer is also the final judge on any dispute over committee rules, a fact that would allow her to override any GOP objection to her process.
Isn't that convenient!

And she's refusing to wait for cost analysis, just to underline how little regard she has for either our hard-earned tax dollars and the legislative process.

How about a truth analysis? How about they have to prove definitively that AGW is real?

How about a legal analysis? How about the have to prove that taxing us for carbon is somehow Constitutional?
