When things went south in 1993 - before the disastrous mid-terms, Clinton brought in an adult: David Gergen. Then he brought in the centrist triangulator Dick Morris in 1995.
MY QUESTION: Who will Obama bring in and when?
I think several major missteps (in domestic affairs and foreign policy) will force Obama to shake up his inner circle and bring in some senior non-Chicago Machine/non-"Willians & Connolly" heavyweights like either Sam Nunn or Mario Cuomo and either Colin Powell or Richard Lugar this December.
Anybody out there got similar thoughts yet?
