Until the west accepts that the source of funding for the jihadists emanates from Saudi Arabia, Iran and some of the lesser gulf states, and takes action to destroy their ability to finance this activity, AQ and like organizations will NOT GO AWAY! Failing to accept this basic fact and to immediately engage in finding oil in countries that are not islamic (including the U.S.) and placing a crash program to build nuclear power facilities in every state with suitable sites is simply fiddling while Rome burns. Sorry if the truth hurts but we had better get on with the solutions that are at hand or it will never end and may escalate to the total destruction of several Arab nations before it is over or at least goes dormant again.
