I think you just hit on the perfect sports analogy for Barack.
I've been saying for years (in fact, I believe I have even blogged on it) that Isaiah Thomas is clearly an idiot. I used to say this back in the days when he was first a TV analyst.
Since then, he has destroyed the CBA (he managed an entire established basketball minor league system into the ground in like a year and a half) , the Indiana Pacers, and the New York Knicks.
Thomas and Obama both get by on their entusiasm, looks, and smile. They are both vapid human beings.
