MORE PROOF PC-LEFTIST POLICIES ARE HYPOCRITICAL AND ANTI-AMERICAN

  • THE LEFT ALSO DEFENDS THOSE WHO ATTACK JUDEO-CHRISTIAN VALUES AND SYMBOLS, BUT ATTACKS THOSE WHO ATTACK ISLAM.
THIS IS CONSISTENT ON ONE LEVEL:
  • IF IT'S ANTI-USA OR ANTI-JUDEO-CHRISTIAN, THEN THE LEFT IS IN FAVOR OF IT.
  • IF IT SUPPORTS THE USA OR JUDEO-CHRISTIAN VALUES, THEN THE LEFT OPPOSES IT.
THIS IS WHY THE LEFT IS THE FIFTH COLUMN FOR THE ENEMY (JIHADISTS, RECONQUISTAS, ET AL); THEY ALL HATE THE WEST.
  • AS LONG AS THE USA IS STRONG AND HAS THE WILL TO DEFEND THE WEST, THEN THE LEFT AND THEIR COMRADES CANNOT SUCCEED.
  • AS LONG AS THERE IS A LEFT FIGHTING AS THE ENEMY'S FIFTH COLUMN HERE AT HOME, WE WILL NOT DEFEAT OUR ENEMIES ABROAD.
  • More here at STACLU.

Ignorance is a sad and deadly disease . . .

Your post would almost make sense if it contained any factually accurate statement and . . . made sense. Unfortunately, it does not.

The vandal in question was not charged with "desecrating the Mexican flag". He was charged with vandalism for destroying property that did not belong to him.

He was not charged with a hate crime.

The flag was not raised by a Mexican-American group, it was raised as part of a ceremony by the university ROTC. They did not take it down after the ceremony because they mistakenly thought that La Raza was going to do it, and La Raza thought they were going to do it - it was a simple miscommunication. The ROTC has published a statement in the college paper to that effect.

Nobody objected to taking down the flag. They objected to this dimwit vandalizing it after - as he says - his emotions got the better of him. Nobody was impressed that he was so emotional about a flag that he became violent over it.

Destroying a flag as a political act, by the way, is an exercise of free speech. He would have been perfectly within his rights to destroy his own flag. He's just not allowed to destroy other people's - and that's the crime he was charged with.

All this information is easily available with just a few minutes' worth of looking into the situation. Give it a try next time. Information is the front-line defense against ignorance.

Veteran Sentenced For Desecrating Mexican Flag at UNM Campus

Last fall a student La Raza group flew the The Mexican Flag over the UNM campus for several days--
This symbolizes that a US territory has been taken over.
After complaining to campus officials who did nothing Air Force veteran Peter Lynch took the flag down and tore it up.
This week he was sentenced.

US Air Force veteran Peter Lynch was found guilty and sentenced Tuesday for desecrating a Mexican Flag that was flying illegally over the University of New Mexico campus.
News Channel 4 New Mexico reported:

The flag belonged to the campus group "El Centro de la Raza" who accused Lynch of being a racist for taking down the flag.

On September 18, 2007, veteran Peter Lynch noticed a Mexican flag hanging from a flagpole outside Scholes Hall Mondayat the UNM campust. Lieutenant Pat Davis of the UNM Police Department testified that when Lynch saw the Mexican flag flying without an American flag, which is improper flag etiguette, he first reported it to the office of UNM’s Dean of Students, then to the Officer of Veteran Affairs. They would not act on the illegal display of the Mexican flag, so Lynch took it down and tore it and took it to the Air Force ROTC office.
Two Malcontents reported:

“At least one person encouraged him by saying, ‘Yeah, brother, go ahead,’ and ‘Thank you,’ and some other things he heard in the background,” Davis says Lynch explained.

Davis says that Lynch told him he then became emotional and “took the flag in his hands and ripped it in half.”

Davis said that Lynch told officers that the lone Mexican flag flying without an U.S. flag “could be perceived as a sign of war or that the territory had been taken over by another country and he felt it was his obligation to remove the flag and enforce that code.”

Davis says that, in the end, Lynch told police that his emotions got the better of him.

** Mario Burgos says that this is not the first time that the local District Attorney Kari Brandenburg has prosecuted veterans to the fullest extent of the law for protecting their rights and standing up for the laws of the land.

(This post was updated to reflect the correct La Raza group from the UNM campus.)
