BUYING DEMOCRAT SILENCE: WHAT PRICE?

How much does it take to buy the traitorous disloyalty of an American Democrat politician?

I guess that depends on his/her level of importance, whether President, ex-President or pawn.

Earlier this year, in Qatar's leading English daily newspaper, The Peninsula, there was a story of a female Egyptian lawyer who had spoken with ex-President, Bill Clinton.

“I like him,” she gushed. “All Arabs like him. But we hate George Bush. All Arabs hate him.”
What is it with the Arabs? You might ask. Well for starters, Clinton has been kissing butt big time:
Ex-president Bill Clinton is winning high praise throughout the Arab world for his recent comments condemning anti-Muslim bias and urging dialogue with Hamas - with even Iranian newspapers touting his go-slow approach to that country's nuclear threat.
He urged Israel not to ‘act unilaterally’ but to be ‘principled’. He also downplayed comments by Ahmadinejad that Israel should be ‘wiped off the map’ and condemned the Danish cartoons of the ‘prophet’ Mohammed, calling them ‘appalling’.
Here’s a salient quote:
"President Clinton and his national security team ignored several opportunities to capture Osama bin Laden and his terrorist associates, including one as late as last year" -Mansoor Ijaz, L.A. Times, December 5, 2001
(Read more about Clinton’s appalling crimes against his country here).

What is this criminal partisanship that Clinton has found with the Islamic extremist cause? Well, excuse my scepticism but it might just be those millions of dollars they’ve showered upon him. Yes…millions! Here are the facts:
  • President Clinton's new $165 million library here was funded in part by gifts of $1 million or more each from the Saudi royal family and three Saudi businessmen.
  • According to Dick Morris, author of the best-selling book, "Condi vs, Hillary," Clinton is a paid agent of the crown prince of Dubai, now involved in a firestorm over its deal to take over some of the operations at six major U.S. ports. "He is a paid agent of the crown prince of Dubai. That in addition to the roughly million dollars they gave his library, in addition to the probably $600,000 in speaking fees he got, and in addition to the scholarships for Dubai children they endowed through his library.
  • Bill Clinton made hundreds of thousands working for the UAE. Bill even tried to get his good friend work promoting the state owned Dubai Ports World!
  • He was paid $450,000 for a recent Dubai speech, and the UAE gave at least $500,000 for his presidential library.
(In November, Bill Clinton referred to the pro-U.S. Dubai government as "a role model" for the Mideast).
  • A truly shocking story in the Washington Post about how Bill earned $40 million in the last four years just in speaking fees. A lot of this was Arab money.
  • It’s reported by Clinton insiders that Clinton also collected a consulting fee for work on the early iterations of the Dubai Ports deal in 2006, passing work to his former secretary of state, Madeleine Albright, and other members of his administration inner circle.
Look at the pathetic case of Jimmy Carter. Many of us thought he was kind of a wishy-washy but harmless man who meant well but just didn’t know how to make good decisions. Sound familiar? Well you might be wondering at some of the anti-American sentiment that’s coming out of the mouth of this former president lately.

One man who believed about Carter as I did, has been shocked and disillusioned to discover a few hard facts. He recalls his first shock when Carter received a monetary reward in the name of Shiekh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahayan and kept the money, even after Harvard returned money from the same source because of its anti-Semitic history. (It should not be overlooked how dirty the Zayed Foundation is. Here are the facts.

Jimmy Carter was, of course, aware of Harvard's decision, since it was highly publicized.
Here is a run down of some of the moneys received by Carter:
The extent of Carter's financial support from, and even dependence on, dirty money is still not fully known. What we do know is deeply troubling. Carter and his Center have accepted millions of dollars from suspect sources, beginning with the bail-out of the Carter family peanut business in the late 1970s by BCCI, a now-defunct and virulently anti-Israeli bank indirectly controlled by the Saudi Royal family, and among whose principal investors is Carter's friend, Sheikh Zayed. Agha Hasan Abedi, the founder of the bank, gave Carter "$500,000 to help the former president establish his center...[and] more than $10 million to Mr. Carter's different projects."

Carter gladly accepted the money, though Abedi had called his bank-ostensibly the source of his funding-"the best way to fight the evil influence of the Zionists." BCCI isn't the only source: Saudi King Fahd contributed millions to the Carter Center- "in 1993 alone...$7.6 million" as have other members of the Saudi Royal Family. Carter also received a million dollar pledge from the Saudi-based bin Laden family, as well as a personal $500,000 environmental award named for Sheikh Zayed, and paid for by the Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates.

It's worth noting that, despite the influx of Saudi money funding the Carter Center, and despite the Saudi Arabian government's myriad human rights abuses, the Carter Center's Human Rights program has no activity whatever in Saudi Arabia. The Saudis have apparently bought his silence for a steep price.

The bought quality of the Center's activities becomes even more clear, however, when reviewing the Center's human rights activities in other countries: essentially no human rights activities in China or in North Korea, or in Iran, Iraq, the Sudan, or Syria, but activity regarding Israel and its alleged abuses, according to the Center's website.

The Carter Center's mission statement claims that "The Center is nonpartisan and acts as a neutral party in dispute resolution activities." How can that be, given that its coffers are full of Arab money, and that its focus is away from significant Arab abuses and on Israel's far less serious ones?
America, this makes me sick and I don't live there at the moment. Carter and Clinton have obviously been bought, their commendations on policy, their complicity in Arab human rights abuses, their silence and their anti-patriotism. How many other Democrats are receiving funds from the Arabs? When you hear pro-Islamicist polemic, or for that matter, any nefarious, anti-western polemic, consider the source and who is paying off that source. Consider also what you'll be getting if you vote in another Clinton!
