IS SAUDI ARABIA IN CAHOOTS WITH IRAN?

Terrorist funders and dictators with nuclear weapons seem to go hand in hand, don't they? And seeing the House of Saud and Iran working together on something is cause for concern:
Saudi Arabia's willingness to work with Iran likely indicates the growing alarm in the kingdom's leadership over the two simultaneous crises, which have inflamed Sunni-Shiite tensions throughout the Middle East.

At the same time, Saudi Arabia has given tepid support to a new American strategy in Iraq but has expressed skepticism over whether it will succeed. Besides sending 21,000 additional American troops to Iraq, the new strategy takes a tougher stance on Iran.
Daniel Freeman says that it looks like the Saudis lied when they said last week that they weren't mediating between American and Iran, and that the only deals they're really doing are with Iran as well. Here's a note on why Iran sees the Saudis as potential allies.
