... Record low temperature shattered at Tallahassee Florida!...
AR 6:51 am EDT this morning... the temperature at the Tallahassee
Regional Airport dropped to 54 degrees. This obliterates the old
record low of 57 degrees set in 1991.
This is one more bit of proof that man-made global warming is definitely false, and it might even prove that global warming itself might be false. I think that the whole hysterical effort to curb so called greenhouse gases is really an effort by the reactionary post modern Left - who dominate the Democrats and the MSM - to curb industrialization and global trade and to hobble and diminish the West.

As the average global temperature rises, it causes drastic changes in weather patterns. In some places this will mean cooler temperatures. This is actually further confirmation that our environment is changing.
Change in the weather pattern is expected, stability is only an illusion. Consider that the US is considered to be a "carbon sink", even with all the eeeevilll SUVs and non fair trade coffee. One of the ways to jack up the carbon sink rate is to increase reforestation. Like how the Fertile Crescent is being restored, with a huge part being played by the Army Corp of Engineers. Saddam Hussein (may his name be cursed forever, may his line be wipe from history) was very active in draining the Southern wetlands, until only a small portion near the bordering Iran remained.
By restoring this area, the net effect is the restoration of an area that has the potential to be a very effective carbon sink for the ME. Many specis of plants, fish, and birds are returning. Not to mention the Ma'Dans, who are the descendants of the Sumerians, you know, the ones with the first know written language on clay tablets. Noticed that Lefty greenies never brought the issue of habitat destruction up when they talk about Hussein (may his soul be damed forever). Hypocrisy runs deep on the Left, whatever respect I used to have for them is now gone.
Oh yeah, if anybody is going to say that the restoration program has been in the works long befor the liberation of Iraq, it is only possible to start the program on the ground after the liberation.
