THE MSM SPREADS MORE LEFT-WING HAGIOGRAPHIC PROPAGANDA

LEFTISTS STICK TOGETHER: LAST WEEK THE NYTIMES PRAISED KRUSHCHEV; THIS WEEK AP AND UPI PRAISE GORBACHEV -

UPI:
Yet Gorbachev, who is arguably the man most responsible for ending the Cold War, seems unfazed by polls and numbers.
AP:
The man who ended the Cold War and launched democratic reforms that broke the repressive Soviet regime continues to enjoy the limelight, globe-trotting on behalf of his political foundation and environmental group and taking part in charity projects.
These LIES do nothing more than expose the Leftist attitudes of the "reporters." Reagan and Thatcher and Pope JPII (who was shot during an assassination attempt planned and executed by the USSR) won the Cold War. It was NOT ended voluntarily by Gorbachev, who was nothing more than the COMMUNIST dictator of the USSR - the last of a long line of tyrants who murdered 50 million of their own comrades, and installed Castro and Pol Pot and Kim Il Sung and many MANY other horrifying tyrants.

Gorbachev actually only deserves our undying contempt. Even on his 75th birthday.

Why did the NYTIMES go out of its way to praise Krushchev last week, and why did these two wire services go out of their way to praise Gorbachev this week?

SIMPLE: to make the tyrants of the USSR seem like benevolent and misunderstood progressive leaders of a benign form of socialism.

BUT WHY DO THAT NOW?!

Well, (believe it or not) it goes hand-in-glove with Clooney's movie GOOD NIGHT AND GOOD LUCK: The Lefties of the MSM praise commie tryants like Krushchev and Gorbachev, and make movies which unfairly savage McCarthy because they want to make anti-communists seem like unreasonable and dangerous paranoids because, by extension, it helps them portray Bush and LONG WAR HAWKS like paranoids, too.

There was another instance of this type of Left-wing hagiographic propaganda today, in a report which I saw on CNNI's YOUR WORLD TODAY. This report portrayed the incoming Hamas PM Haniya as a "humble honest man whose rise from refugee camp poverty to national power proves that anyone can grow up to become the leader of his nation. [paraphrased]"

YEAH RIGHT! ALL HANIYA REALLY PROVES IS THAT ANY ARAB MUSLIM WHO IS WILLING TO COMMIT GENOCIDAL TERROR AGAINST JEWS CAN GROW UP TO BE PM OF AN ARAB NATION!

The Lefties in the MSM praise Krushchev, Gorbachev and Haniya even as they SMEAR BUSH. Proving only that these dissembling Leftists have no shame.

I'm new to your blog so i wonder for what does MSM stand for?

---BTW, there are other equivalents to the leftists portray of Krushchev and Gorbatchev:
In France, they used to do the same thing with Ayatollah Khatami and now with Hanieyh!

They are skilled in "discovering" liberals among the most oppressive people. Anyway, as long as you are antiamerican and have a pretty smile, you become their friend.

You should read The Opium of the intellectuals by Raymond Aron. A prominent french scholar who was an anticommunist in the fifties. He explains why the lefties are so dumb : because socialism is a kind of religion.

I wanted to ask you something. Lately I've had a bad taste about american foreign policy especially with Iran.

After operation Iraqi Freedom, the Bush administration underwent massive criticism from outside and inside. A year ago, Paul Wolfowitz was moved to the World Bank... there are less neoconservatives in the governement.

The engagement in Iraq is a heavy duty that is growing increasingly unpopular. I'm afraid of an iraqi syndrom which will turn americans to "peace at any cost" lovers and promote a Carter like whimp foreign policy.

Well, you live there, can you tell us a bit about what's happening with Condi and W? Why are they so quiet about the nuclear crisis with Iran?

Some say the US cannot afford a new war. Well, I believe they are wrong 'cause America can bomb Iran even more intensively than Iraq but I'm not sure America is able to invade that country if necessary!?

I'm afraid Bush's resolve has been broken because of the difficulties in Iraq. Many people think the US are loosing grounds there. And nobody will expose them the truth about what's happening.

So, what do you think?

aron's book is great.

bush has always used every tool deftly: mutiparty talks with noko and iran; all out war versus saddam; more surreptitious war versus moros in se asia and in the horn of africa, and elsewhere.

he and condi are clearer than he and powell - powell was a double-dealer who undermined bush in europe.

bush and condi amde a huge error with hamas: they should've treated them as the IRA and not sinn fein.

other than that they have been okay.

very patient.

the assad situation is goin the be ripe in a few weeks. and the iran situation partly ripe this yuear (sanctions) and fully ripe by next year (preemptive attack).

let's see how russia and china react to the india deal. they might become more helpful.

russia might want a similar deal with iran.

anyhow - ousting assad is th next big thin - because it's the next most doable thing, most digestible thing. and it will isolate hamas more and hizballah and iran.

bush is confident enough to be patient.

bush is a GREAT poker player who doesn;t mind it when his opponent THINK they are holding the cards -- all that measn to him is that the pot he's gonna win is gonna be bigger.

all the best~
