Well, realists like Bush have known for a long time that this "insurgency" is going to last around a decade - like ALL others. So we're NOT surprised that the ENEMY is still attacking us and our allies whenever they can, and attacking whatever targets they think will get them a HUGE headline. The hotel they bombed mostly housed journalists, so they picked a good target - FROM THEIR POINT OF VIEW!
