MOSHE GAFNI DOESN'T LIKE THE TEMPLE MOUNT

The ultra-Orthodox chairman of the Knesset’s Finance Committee, Moshe Gafni (United Torah Judaism) on Thursday sharply criticized Agriculture Minister Uri Ariel (Jewish Home), calling him “a real damage” for having visited Temple Mount this week.

Speaking at a session of the committee held in Kfar Hamakabiyah, in central Israel, Gafni said “I protest his going up to the Temple Mount. He should start tending to the issues of his ministry instead of going to the Temple Mount.”

“With such an agriculture minister I feel I’m in the Diaspora. [He’s] totally redundant. A real damage,” Gafni said.

I think Gafni himself is redundant, and has been for a long time. He clearly sees Jews as the problem, and not Islamofascism. This is classic victim blaming in motion.

According to ultra-Orthodox news website Kikar Hashabat, Jewish Home officials said in response that Gafni “should do what he does best, that is being a schnorrer.” The term, which means scrounger, was an apparent reference to the assertion that many in the ultra-Orthodox community do not do national service and are heavily supported by state benefits.

Gafni is a disgrace, representing the kind who won't serve in the military or show any appreciation to the men and women working hard for his security. He does not belong in the Knesset. IMO, he disrespects the Temple Mount, and clearly sees nothing wrong with having Islamofascists up there who're doing everything they can to destroy the Jewish heritage there.

NOBEL SECRETARY REGRETS GIVING OBAMA THE PRIZE

One of the former overseers of the Nobel peace prize now expresses regret over giving it to Obama:

Awarding the Nobel Peace Prize to US President Barack Obama in 2009 failed to achieve what the committee hoped it would, its ex-secretary has said.

Geir Lundestad told the AP news agency that the committee hoped the award would strengthen Mr Obama.

Instead, the decision was met with criticism in the US. Many argued he had not had any impact worthy of the award.

Mr Lundestad, writing in his memoir, Secretary of Peace, said even Mr Obama himself had been surprised.

"No Nobel Peace Prize ever elicited more attention than the 2009 prize to Barack Obama," Mr Lundestad writes.

"Even many of Obama's supporters believed that the prize was a mistake," he says. "In that sense the committee didn't achieve what it had hoped for".

Why would anybody think a mere prize would help anybody when they don't even prove they're worthy of it, past, present or future? And how do they intend to make improvements in their policies so that farces aren't performed again?

They say they're dropping a boycott of Israeli goods, save for Judea/Samaria goods:

Reykjavík Mayor Dagur B. Eggertsson announced on Saturday on Icelandic national broadcaster RÚV that Reykjavík City Council is canceling its boycott of all Israeli products, limiting the boycott instead to goods produced by Jews in Judea and Samaria, Iceland Review reported.

Dagur admitted that the original boycott motion approved by the council hadn’t been prepared well enough, but now it would be “changed and clarified.”

“I have stated that it should have been made much clearer in the text [that only products from territories occupied by Israel should be boycotted], although that’s what we had in mind. I will suggest to the City Council that the motion the way it reads now be withdrawn while we discuss the next steps and how to present it,” the mayor said.

Dagur added: “I must admit that I’m angry at myself for not having done this the way I wanted.” He said he was surprised by the reaction to the decision. “I expected a reaction but not on this scale. It appears to be a stronger reaction than when Iceland declared support for an independent Palestine [in 2011].”

Israel’s Foreign Ministry condemned the move, which came “for no reason or justification except for hatred for its own sake.” The ministry added: “We hope someone in Iceland will come to their senses and end the one-sided blindness against Israel, the only democracy in the Middle East.” And Iceland’s Prime Minister Sigmundur Davíð Gunnlaugsson called the decision “ridiculous.” The Simon Wiesenthal Center recommended that Jews not travel to Iceland.

I think that's a great idea. No need to buy their products either, if they're going to hatemonger against Judea/Samaria. This could be a perfect opportunity now to protest any boycott of Judea/Samaria products done for the sake of legitimizing terrorism. We certainly don't need to support the creeps running Reykjavik.

Ahmed Mohamad did not invent, nor build a clock. He took apart an existing clock, and transplanted the guts into a pencil box, and claimed it was his own creation. It all seems really fishy to me. 

If we accept the story about “inventing” an alarm clock is made up, as I think I’ve made a pretty good case for, it’s fair to wonder what other parts of the story might be made up, not reported factually by the media, or at least, exaggerated. 

I refer back again to this YouTube video interview with Ahmed. He explains that he closed up the box with a piece of cord because he didn’t want it to look suspicious. I’m curious, why would “looking suspicious” have even crossed his mind before this whole event unfolded, if he was truly showing off a hobby project, sometuhing so innocuous as an alarm clock. 

Why did he choose a pencil box, one that looks like a miniature briefcase no less, as an enclosure for a clock? It’s awful hard to see the clock with the case closed. On the other hand, with the case open, it’s awful dangerous to have an exposed power transformer sitting near the snooze button (unless, perhaps his invention was to stop serial-snooze-button pressers by giving them a dangerous electrical shock!)

The GOP nominees must do this as well as they convince Americans about peace through strength.

ANN COULTER IS DECIDEDLY NOT WORTH OUR TIME

I've often had mixed feelings in the past about columnist Coulter, who's made a name for herself with plenty of firestorm statements. But this time, I think she has gone overboard for no good reason:

Right-wing commentator Ann Coulter's rant about "f---king Jews" was "misunderstood," she claimed in a Daily Beast interview late Thursday, as she denied that the remarks reinforce anti-Semitic stereotypes.

"I think it was ripped out of context and lied about," Coulter stated. "Anyone following any of the debate in America knew exactly what I was talking about… My tweet was about Republicans and the pandering. It wasn’t about Israel, it wasn’t about Jews. It’s what Republicans are thinking in their little pea brains."

What about hers? She's not thinking any deeper. She's only digging to that point:

Coulter then dug herself deeper, taking a shot at Evangelical Christians.

"I could say the same thing about Evangelicals," she said. "Who are you pandering to? A lot of it is to Sheldon Adelson and the Evangelicals…this kind of suck-uppery is humiliating.”

"There is no doubt that the Republican Party is the party of Israel and of Life," she added. "So why keep sucking up on Israel?”

What's so wrong with Adelson? Nobody's saying he's a saint, but compared with Soros, he's peanuts. Adelson's done plenty to help Israel, and if Coulter were really pro-Israel, she wouldn't be targeting people like him. "Sucking up" doesn't help either.

When asked whether her remarks could perpetuate the idea that Jews "run Hollywood" or the media, Coulter admitted: “Well, this episode is not going a long way to disprove that.”

Coulter then took cheap shots at Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, oddly choosing to link his policies with the US's illegal immigration issues.

"I’d like to move Israel to the northern border of Mexico, and see what happens then," she said. "These Republicans say fences don’t work - I’d like to see some of them explain Netanyahu’s policy on the fence.”

Even before her attempted explanations, Coulter's remarks sparked a stream of support from anti-Semites, including Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Honestly, her defense is boggling and not very comprehensive. So, it's just no use, I can't see Coulter as somebody to support anymore.

ICELAND'S CAPITOL JOINS THE BDS MADNESS

The latest area to declare a boycott of Israeli products is Rekjavik:

Two days after the municipal government of Iceland's capital Reykjavik voted to boycott Israeli products, the European Jewish Congress is considering legal redress, the group announced in a statement.

On Tuesday the city's motion stated that it would boycott Israeli goods “as long as the occupation of Palestinian territories continues.”

The local government also stated that it opposed what it termed the “the Israeli policy of apartheid."

“This is clearly a discriminatory move and we have already sought advice that it might break international law and treaties," said EJC President Moshe Kantor in an email to the press.

Iceland's government says the municipality's actions don't reflect its policy. But this is still very embarrassing, and demonstrates a failure by a European country to reeducate its population.

On a semi-related note, BDS supporters like Peter Beinart and Alisa Doctoroff may be barred from entering the country. Rekjavik's council members who support the same should also be kept out.

CONWAY COMMENTS ON THE CLOCKMAKER

Yes, it could be the school overreacted, and some have pretty poor policies already as it is. But the student still had poor taste in how to make a clock. Yet he of all people gets an invite to the White House in contrast to others who didn't, all because of his religious background. And men like Conway can only worry themselves about the wrong crowd.

There was a terrible spate of Islamofascist violence this week, and it cost the life of a driver:

Most of the violence was concentrated on the Temple Mount, where Muslim rioters repeatedly hurled firecrackers, stones and firebombs at the one entrance through which non-Muslims can access the holy site.

During the High Holy Days beginning with Rosh Hashanah, many Jews like to visit the Temple Mount, as this was a biblical time of pilgrimage to the ancient place of worship.

But Muslim authorities insist the Jews are trying to “Judaize” the Temple Mount, and deny any connection between the Jewish people and Jerusalem. Such attacks, therefore, are sadly routine.

[...] Notably, there was very little response from the international community until the Israeli police started responding to the life-threatening violence by using tear gas and shutting the Muslims inside their mosques.

I'm sure none of them had any condemnations to raise about the murder of an innocent man while driving. This has practically become the norm in Armon HaNatsiv for quite a while now. The government has only now been discussing harsher punishments needed for stone throwers, and if they truly mean it, they'll ensure such laws get passed very quickly.

THE BEST ESTABLISHMENT TICKET FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT GOP: RUBIO-KASICH

I think that very soon the establishment will rally around Kasich and Rubio.

Ohio and Florida are key states and the midwest and latinos are key, too.

The establishment will soon pressure Christie and Jeb to drop out and each to endorse one of the above.

Perry will endorse one of them and then Graham, Pataki, Gilmore and McCain.

Then Romney,  to give the appearance of inevitability.

They will do this out of desperation to stop Trump.

When Trump falters -as he will once the field is whittled down and he no longer sucks up all the oxygen - he will endorse Cruz.

Fiorina gets Carson's endorsement.

In the end it is Cruz and Fiorina versus the establishment...

BTW: I tried watching all of Trump's Dallas speech, but couldn't as it bored me. He has great style - exuding confidence and talking plain English - and he's right on most issues and his anger is well-placed, but there is no substance there. And he seems like he has ADD and no ability to focus and tell a story in a straight line.

Cruz is better on the issues and his agenda is clear, cogent, intelligent, and principled. Fiorina, too. In a long contest Trump will become more and more grating, and Cruz and Fiorina more appealing.

Obama has consistently aided and abetted our enemies:

• Obama supported the muslim brotherhood over Mubarak... he is still refusing to assist alSisi's war against ISIS in the Sinai...
• Obama refused to follow advice from his Sec Def Panetta and the JCOS's and keep a residual force in Iraq - this vacuum allowed ISIS to grow and take over huge parts of Iraq and Syria..
• Obama has given Putin a free hand in Syria ever since the phony Assad-WMD redline....
• Obama supported alQaeda over Kaddafy at at time Kaddafy was aiding us in our global war on islamoextremists....... 
• Obama supported Iran over Israel and Saudi Arabia and capitulated to the ayatollah on every key issue that for three years Obama promised the West he would not give in on - like enrichment and 24/7 inspections... 
• And Obama gave into Putin and surrendered eastern Europe when he withdrew missile defense from eastern Europe as part of the Russian Reset, which set the stage for "even more flexibility" and Putin's invasion of Crimea and eastern Ukraine.
• Obama has weakened our military, while standing by and doing nothing as our vets were mistreated - an issue he campaigned on in 2008.
• Obama has allowed huge hacks of our national data and his DOJ is protecting a former Sec State who endangered national security by using a private server.

Taken together and seen as an overall foreign policy, there should be no doubt that he is a traitor to the USA, our allies and the West.

Some critics blame ineptness, naivete, and bad luck, but these acts and the effects of these acts are too consistent to be seen as a result of naivete, ineptness or bad luck. 

Further proof is the fact that these acts reflect and dovetail with the longtime beliefs and policies of the postmodern left, the blame America first crowd who have long loudly proclaimed USA hegemony is, and has long been, the root of global poverty, war, colonialism, and the main reason we do not have the one-world socialist government they have longed for for nearly a century. 

This is the crowd that Obama grew up in, was tutored by, and who gave him every break he got - from his admission to Columbia and then Harvard, to his first job in Chicago.... from his first electoral campaign and his most recent one which were run by the same folks with the same aims. Frank Davis, Gerry Kellman, Derick Bell, Farrakhan, Ayers, Wright, Axelrod and so on.... 

Obama is a traitor worse than Arnold, Hiss, White, Hannsen and Ames combined.

Impeachment is too good for him. He should be arrested for treason, tried and executed.

Time for a Special Prosecutor: OBAMA DOJ PARTICIPATING IN HILLARY EMAIL COVER-UP

The Justice Department is affirming that former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton had the right to delete personal emails from her private server. Government lawyers made the assertion in a court filing this week in a public records lawsuit filed by Judicial Watch, an advocacy group. The legal filing says “there is no question” that Clinton could have deleted personal emails without agency supervision and could have done so even if she’d been using a government server. 

Some additional coverage at Buzzfeed turns up this nugget. (Emphasis added) 

The back-and-forth over the preservation order, as part of a narrow FOIA case, does not address the classification issues that still command sustained political coverage about Clinton. 

But in terms of the email submission itself, the lawyers argue that,without reason to believe that Clinton was not honest and forthcoming in selecting and turning over her federal records, no government agency would be required to “recover deleted material based on unfounded speculation that responsive information had been deleted.” Such was the case with Clinton, the lawyers say. 

HOT AIR AGAIN: 

That’s a fairly amazing argument summed up in only a few words. On the one hand they offer a nod to the fact that Clinton repeatedly lied about sending and receiving classified data on this account.   

(Classified? Why would you think that satellite photos of North Korean nuclear installations were classified?)
But in the very next breath they argue that retention of all of the emails to sort out what was or wasn’t of value was not required because there was no reason to believe that Clinton was not honest and forthcoming.

OBAMA BROKE US LAW WITH HIS HANDLING OF IRAN DEAL

In some good news, the US Congress has passed a resolution declaring that Obama broke US laws with the way he handled the faustian pact with Iran by not giving them proper access to the details of the agreement:

The House of Representatives is taking action against the Obama administration for failing to provide the texts of the side agreements between the IAEA and Iran, which is required under the Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act of 2015.

Just two hours after the Senate moved to block a resolution of disapproval of the Iran nuclear deal, the House passed Resolution 411 by a vote of 245-186.

Members of Congress have expressed concern that they have not been allowed to see the text of the agreements between the IAEA and Iran governing the protocols for nuclear inspections.

Indeed, the Obama administration itself has not seen these agreements, and is only aware of their general content. Some concerning details have emerged, such as that Iran will be responsible for collecting soil samples for testing by the IAEA. At the same time, Iranian leaders have been emphatic that they will not give inspectors access to conventional military sites where nuclear activity is suspected of taking place.

Very interesting! So even Obama's own administration is just leading a slapdash, half-hearted attempt to get something recorded for the sake of a place in history, no matter how it's seen as by future generations. Here's a video of Rep. Peter Roksam's discussion of the issue. Already, it's clear that this is one of the most deliberately ignorant deals ever made in history.

Jeremy Corbyn, an oldtime, hardcore leftist - to this day an openly avid admirer of Karl Marx - and anti-blairite who hates jews and Israel, has won a huge victory and will now lead the brit Labour party.

The is not unlike Obama's victory over Hillary in 2008 and Sanders' leading Hillary now.

I think Corbyn's win  is actually great news for Britain: it will marginalize Labour and strengthen UKIP, and thereby improve the chances for brexit.

Brexit is essential in the continental battle to eradicate the EU, and defeating the Left's assault on the Free World.

I believe that Europe and the USA are at a crossroad.

If, in the coming elections - our potus election here, the brexit referendum in Britain, the presidential election in France, and national elections in Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands, and Germany, (where anti-left/anti-immigration parties are thriving or growing) - the people choose pride in their own culture, faith in the free market, and courage in the face of ridicule by the leftist controlled mass media and academy, then the West - the USA and Europe - can be saved.

Here's an editorial from USA Today for the 14th anniversary to the day when the jihad struck American soil. Unfortunately, there's subtle deceptions in here regarding the Koran:

Fourteen years ago, the United States suffered a shockingly successful surprise attack by a little known Islamic extremist group based 7,000 miles away in Taliban-controlled Afghanistan. Since then, a U.S. invasion chased al-Qaeda out of its haven, and targeted strikes eventually eliminated most of its senior leaders, including Osama bin Laden in 2011. The danger from the group that killed nearly 3,000 Americans on Sept. 11, 2001, has waned.

Its influence lives on, however, through offshoot extremist groups that have eclipsed al-Qaeda — none more so than the Islamic State, the lightning spread of which through Syria and Iraq has been marked by medieval barbarity, adapted to the Internet age.

The group, also known as ISIL or ISIS, announced itself with carefully publicized video beheadings of captive Westerners and the burning alive of a Jordanian pilot inside a cage. Less visible in the West, but easy to find online, are gruesome videos of the slaughter of the group’s enemies.

As if mass murder weren’t enough, the group has regularized the rape and sexual slavery of women and girls it captures, justifying the brutality with twisted readings of the Quran. ISIL even issued a guide with 27 answers to militants’ questions, noting that the females’ “unbelief” makes it legal to enslave them.

"Twisted"? And they said all this without presenting a single verse from within the screedish scripture. They even stuck with the PC word "militants".

And while Islamic State is a danger, the whole notion the USA isn't still vulnerable is very naive thinking. There have been tons of terror attacks since, including the bloodbath at Fort Hood. And if that could occur, then attacks on a higher scale could happen again, and that's why we have to be alert in order to prevent such horrors from happening. The paper's just proven they're not as responsible as they want anyone to think.

PREDICTABLY, THE UN ALLOWS PLO TO FLY THEIR FLAG AT THE ASSEMBLY

The UN's PLO-worship goes even further as they voted to allow their dictatorial flag to be flown at the general assembly:

Palestinians overwhelmingly won the right to fly their national flag in front of the United Nations headquarters, a symbolic step opposed by Israel and the United States.

The change was made by the UN General Assembly, when a vast majority of member countries voted in favour of a resolution granting what are known as non-member observer states the right to fly their flags alongside member states.

[...] The Israeli ambassador, Ron Prosor, described the resolution as a cynical action. “Make no mistake, the goal of this resolution is a photo op,” Mr Prosor said.

“The Palestinians want to bring together world dignitaries and the media to gather around and watch as Mahmoud Abbas raises a flag. They plan to use the prestige of the UN as a backdrop for this charade.”

All those countries who gave their full backing to the PLO should be ashamed of themselves, and are showing as much disrespect for America as they are for Israel. Ron Prosor also said:

[...] Prosor, in his last speech to the UN General Assembly before returning to Israel after a four year stint as ambassador, took aim at the world body, saying that rather than flying the Palestinian flag, it might as well just wave a “white flag” and surrender its principles.

He argued that not only was the measure procedurally flawed, in that it was brought to a vote without the requisite debate and discussion, but it also allowed the Palestinians to manipulate the institution for its own public relations stunts.

“In my four years, I have seen hypocrisy, I have seen duplicity, and I have seen a triple standard -- one for democracies, one for dictatorships, and a special standard designed only for Israel,” Prosor said. “I thought I had seen everything,” he continued. “But I have to admit, this time, the Palestinian managed to take cynicism to a whole new level. The goal of this resolution is a photo op. The Palestinians want to bring together world dignitaries and the media to gather around and watch as [Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas] Abu Mazen raises a flag. They plan to use the prestige of the UN as a backdrop for this charade.”

No vote, Prosor said, can turn “empty symbolic gestures into a state.”

Instead of playing along, he said, “the international community must make it clear to the Palestinians that the only way to achieve statehood is through direct negotiations. As long as the Palestinians believe they can achieve their political goals without making concessions, they will continue to avoid taking the difficult decisions needed for peace.”

Prosor took a swipe at the EU, as some of its 28 members voted for the Palestinians, while some others abstained.

Regarding an imaginary resolution brought by the Palestinians declaring the world flat, the EU would “probably try to reach a consensus to abstain on the vote,” Prosor said. “But some EU countries would consider it a matter of principle to declare that the world is, indeed, flat -- if this is how the Palestinians see it.”

The EU's vaunted consensus on foreign policy matters, he said only holds firm when “their consensus is against Israel.” But, he said, tThe principle of “maintaining a holy consensus cannot withstand Palestinian pressure.”

Oh yes, the EU is just as dangerous as the UN. But what principles did the UN ever have? Nothing significant, I'm afraid. And now, they've been totally bankrupt for years.

A RALLY AGAINST THE IRAN DEAL AT CAPITOL HILL

Some GOP members organized a rally against the deadly deal with Iran:

Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz on Wednesday predicted the murder of "countless" Americans and Israelis should the proposed nuclear agreement with Iran go through, a graphic warning expected to be echoed by GOP front-runner Donald Trump at a Capitol Hill rally.

Those Democrats who support the deal, Cruz said, "should pray and think very carefully about how they will answer the questions that come from the mother or father or son or daughter of the countless Americans and Europeans and Israelis that will be murdered by Hamas, by Hezbollah, by the Houthis, with the billions of dollars this administration is sending them."

"If you are directly responsible for sending billions of dollars to jihadists who use those billions to murder Americans, you can't wash your hands of that blood," the first-term Texas senator told reporters in the Capitol shortly before the rally began.

At Cruz's invitation, Trump will also appear at the rally organized by tea party leaders and pro-Israel groups protesting the international agreement designed to prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon. Republicans and Israel say Iran can't be trusted because its leaders want to annihilate the Jewish state.

They're correct. Furthermore, if Iran's government is running a violent autocracy back in their own country, how can any sane person view them legitimately? And the US government should not be wasting the citizenry's tax dollars - or any money, for that matter - on an evil entity that's only going to use the money to fund more evil operations.

He also discussed why Berkshire took a $4.48 billion stake in oil refinerPhillips 66, after having traded out of the stock in 2013. "We were able to do that on a tax-advantage basis. We didn't trade them because we didn't like the stock," Buffett said.
