ONLY 38 PERCENT APPROVE OF IRAN DEAL

The Weekly Standard gives word of a Pew poll that makes clear a majority disapproves of the faustian pact with Iran:

A recently released Pew poll finds that only 38% approve President Obama's deal with Iran. A plurality disapproves of the deal.

"More Americans disapprove than approve of the deal struck last week by the U.S., Iran and five other nations to limit Iran’s nuclear program: Among the 79% of Americans who have heard about the agreement, just 38% approve, while 48% disapprove (14% do not offer an opinion)," the Pew poll finds.

"There is widespread skepticism about aspects of the agreement, particularly the Iranian leadership’s commitment to the terms of the deal: Most of those familiar with the agreement say they have not too much (35%) or no confidence at all (38%) that Iran’s leaders will uphold their side of the agreement. And while there is greater confidence in the U.S. and international agencies’ ability to monitor Iran’s compliance, 54% are not too (33%) or not at all (21%) confident, while a smaller share (45%) express at least a fair amount of confidence in their ability.

"Views about the agreement’s effect on U.S.-Iranian relations also are split: Though a plurality (42%) of those who have heard about the deal say there will be little change, about as many think relations between the two nations will worsen (28%) as think they will improve (25%) as a result of the agreement."

I'd say it's a bit more who believe ties will get worse. This proves Obama's has no influence on the US public when it comes to issues like this, and they realize he screwed up badly by letting a dictatorship continue unfettered.

TENNESSEE JIHADIST'S UNCLE JAILED IN JORDAN

The uncle of the Chattanooga jihadist has been put in police custody in Jordan:

An uncle of the man who killed four Marines and a sailor in attacks on Tennessee military sites has been in custody in Jordan since a day after the attack, a lawyer said Tuesday.

Abed al-Kader Ahmad al-Khateeb told The Associated Press that he was barred from seeing his client and that family members were also prevented from visiting the detainee. Computers and cellphones were taken from the man's home, but he has not been charged with anything, the attorney said.

Al-Khateeb identified his client as Asaad Ibrahim Asaad Haj Ali, a maternal uncle of the Chattanooga attacker, Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez.

A Jordanian government official said Tuesday that some of Abdulazeez's relatives in Jordan were being questioned as part of an investigation into his stay in the kingdom. He would not elaborate on the probe.

The official said he was sure the uncle and "other relevant people" are being questioned, but that he did not know whether he was in detention. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to discuss the case with the media.

Abdulazeez spent several months in Jordan last year under a mutual agreement with his parents to help him get away from drugs, alcohol and a group of friends his relatives considered a bad influence, according to a person close to his family. That person also spoke on condition of anonymity out of concern it would have business repercussions.

What? That part is laughable. He stays away from alcohol and drugs, but not the Koran? Then it's clear they never intended to reshape him into somebody better. It's about as effective as trying to get a standard western racist off of alcohol but not acts of violence and hooliganism against people of different ethnicities. If the ideological part isn't dealt with, then no wonder reformation is doomed to failure.

Instead of Hawaii, Obama should retire to.... CUBA!

SEATTLE MAYOR WILLING ALLY TO SHARIA FINANCE

Seattle's mayor is willing to help set up sharia financing for Muslims who want it:

For some Muslims, it can be hard to buy a house, and Mayor Ed Murray plans to do something about it.

On Monday, Murray's housing committee released its recommendations for ways the city can increase housing in the city. Most ideas were what you'd expect, including increasing the city's housing levy and implementing new rules and regulations to foster development of market-rate and lower-income housing.

One suggestion would help followers of Sharia law buy houses. That's virtually impossible now because Sharia law prohibits payment of interest on loans. The 28-member committee recommended the city convene lenders and community leaders to explore options for increasing access to Sharia-compliant loan products.

More and more lenders are offering Sharia-compliant financing, according to a USA Today report. The sector has grown to more than $1.6 trillion in assets worldwide over the past three decades, and analysts see potential for continued growth as the number of Muslims in the United States and Europe grows.

Truly awful. The worst part is how there's politicians out there who're willing to submit to the demands of these stealth conquestors, and in Seattle, it figures the overlord of a leftist regime is willing to be one of the first to do it. Rick Kupke, who was once a political prisoner in Iran, has rightfully slammed the deal currently made with the dictatorship in Iran:

Well over 30 years after he was set free from being held hostage for 444 days by his Middle Eastern captors, Texan Rick Kupke is still saying the Iranian regime cannot be trusted.

In an interview with Texas’s Star Telegram, Kupke—who was the last of 52 American hostages to surrender to the Iranians back in 1979—slammed the nuclear deal which was recently agreed upon between Iran and the P5+1.

The editor of French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo has said the magazine will no longer draw cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed in an interview with a German magazine.

Laurent Sourisseau told Hamburg-based news magazine, Stern, that the magazine had done its job and what it had set out to fulfil.

The weekly magazine's editor, who is known as Riss, said: "We have drawn Mohammad to defend the principle that one can draw whatever they want. It is a bit strange though: we are expected to exercise a freedom of expression that no one dares to.

"We've done our job. We have defended the right to caricature."

He told the German magazine he did not want to believe the magazine was possessed by Islam but maintained that he believed that they had "the right to criticise all religions".

But will they continue in any form to criticize Islam? If not, then that's caving. They shouldn't have even said anything; that only makes it worse. This is not good news, and doesn't help the fight against Islamofascism.

GEN ODIERNO MUST RESIGN

In the wake of the jihadist terror attack on unarmed military recruiters at offices in civilian neighborhoods, US Army Chief of Staff Ray Odierno said he did not think that American armed forces personnel should be allowed to bear arms for self defense:

"I think we have to be careful about over-arming ourselves, and I'm not talking about where you end up attacking each other," Gen. Ray Odierno, chief of staff of the Army, told reporters. Instead, he said, it's more about "accidental discharges and everything else that goes along with having weapons that are loaded that causes injuries."

 If his soldiers are not trained sufficently well to carry personal sidearms that millions of American civilians can safely carry, or if he thinks his soldiers are too stupid to be armed to defend themselves, then that is a withering indictment of the Army's entire training program, and everyone responsible, including the Chief of Staff, should be forced to resign immediately.

We are at war with an implacable, cruel, and unscrupulous enemy.  We had better adopt policies, principles, and rules of engagement that are appropriate to the tasks before us.

Notice for starters how he doesn't actually take the time to condemn the jihadist himself and the ISIS terrorists who were supporting him. Then, notice how he apparently sees nothing wrong with army officials not being allowed to carry weapons. Soon, I guess police shouldn't be allowed to carry them either? He also shows neither interest nor concern about the killer's ideological upbringing, and again, all he can think of doing is blabbering about gun control. Yeah, keep it up, young master Marz. It's always weapons alone that are the problem, and never education or ideology.

Interestingly, Marz is the only comics writer I could find who had anything to say about the attack in Tennessee. Almost all others were strangely quiet. But maybe that's a good thing, because they may have realized they could screw up badly, as Marz did with his dreadful comments.

Major Garrett: As you well know, there are four Americans in Iran - three held on trumped up charges according to your administration, one, whereabouts unknown. Can you tell the country, sir, why you are content, with all of the fanfare around this [nuclear] deal, to leave the conscience of this nation, the strength of this nation, unaccounted for, in relation to these four Americans?

Indeed, how come they don't seem to be a prime concern? Obama's answer is like this:

And last week, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff said under no circumstances should there be any relief for Iran in terms of ballistic missiles or conventional weapons. It was perceived that that was a last-minute capitulation in these negotiations, making the Pentagon feel you've left the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff hung out to dry. Could you comment?

President Obama: I've got to give you credit, Major, for how you craft those questions. The notion that I am content, as I celebrate with American citizens languishing in Iranian jails - Major, that's nonsense. And you should know better. I've met with the families of some of those folks. Nobody's content, and our diplomats and our teams are working diligently to try to get them out.

Now, if the question is why we did not tie the negotiations to their release, think about the logic that that creates. Suddenly, Iran realizes, you know what, maybe we can get additional concessions out of the Americans by holding these individuals - makes it much more difficult for us to walk away if Iran somehow thinks that a nuclear deal is dependent in some fashion on the nuclear deal. And by the way, if we had walked away from the nuclear deal, we'd still be pushing just as hard to get these folks out. That's why those issues are not connected, but we are working every single day to try to get them out and won't stop until they're out and rejoined with their families.

I can't seem to understand anything he says. If they really wanted to free the hostages, they'd be demanding Iran release them and ensure they make it across the borders safely, and only afterwards give them any deal. But apparently, that's not what was done, and it only makes the whole pact look all the more awful as it truly is.

WAS SENATOR CORKER, THE FORMER MAYOR OF CHATTANOOGA, SUPPOSED TO GET A MESSAGE FROM THE ATTACK?

Just days after Iran gets a sweetheart deal from Obama, there's an islamoterror attack in the hometown of the GOP Senator with the most power to defeat the deal in the Senate.

COINCIDENCE? Maybe.  I saw him on TV after the presser and he looked VERY shaken.

HMMM... do you remember that the Democrat Senator who is the former chairman on the Foreign Realtions Commitee and former ranking member - Bob Menendez - who was a staunch critic of both this deal and Obama's Cuba policy - was conveniently and coincidentally indicted by Obama's DOJ.

HOW PSEUDO RABBIS CONSPIRED TO BELITTLE THE TEMPLE MOUNT

Batya Medad went to a conference by Tsohar with a panel discussion between Yehuda Glick and rabbi Joel Bin-Nun about the Temple Mount. And the former brought up an interesting part about alleged rabbis in today's world:

Yehuda Glick brought up the terrible situation in which Torah observant (aka Orthodox and Chareidi) rabbis have participated in the conspiracy to brainwash the Jewish People into believing that the Kotel hamaaravi, the Western Wall is the holiest place for the Jewish People, and that the Temple Mount is holiest for Islam.

IDF soldiers are now brought up to tour the Temple Mount and are only shown it from a Muslim perspective.

At the end of the program, one of the audience asked Glick how it could be that he is accusing prominent rabbis, including Rav Tzvi Yehuda Kook, ZaTza"L, of being wrong.

And Glick answered exactly the way my mind was going. He reminded the audience of how many of the great European rabbis prior to World War Two, when the Nazis were taking over, had told their congregations to stay put. And before then, with the beginning of the Zionist movement, most rabbis had declared it evil and told their followers not to join. Glick also brought up an important point, that the earlier Rav Kook, ZaTza"L, had been in the minority among rabbis and had been condemned for his stands re:Zionism and the Land of Israel. Davka, Tzohar follows the Jewish teachings of Rav Kook, so they shouldn't be afraid to be in the minority.

He's right, and as mentioned before, Satmar's first overlord betrayed his congregation while saving his own skin. The rabbis of the early 20th century could easily be called anti-Israel if they didn't care about it. Perhaps worse still is how they didn't seem particularly worried about Europe's own situations and had no interest in playing their own part trying to better it.

That could explain why they seem to view Islam as legitimate and do nothing to object to its continuation, and why they apparently seem intent on rewriting history to act as though Islam always had a spot on the Temple Mount. Rabbi Kook, one man of mostly Haredi background who had common sense and respect for history, has long been shunned by modern Haredi isolationists as worthless.

But it's those who keep calling against Judaist activity on the Temple Mount and those who turn a blind eye to Islamofascism who're the truly unworthy of representing Judaism.

Who would want to visit a country ruled by sharia? A country where women have no rights and where dissidents with the regime were subjected to torture and rape? Betty Mahmoody was very lucky she managed to flee with her daughter Mahtob from that hellhole back at the time the ayatollah was viciously running the country. Jimmy Carter sure caused a lot of disaster when he turned his back on the country in 1979 and allowed the shah to be overthrown by the much worse ayatollah Khomeini.

Among the various other issues Wilson's oblivious to include Americans held hostage in Iran, who apparently aren't part of the deal made. No amount of green lawns and flower gardens will conceal how the Islamic mindset dominating the country makes it a truly awful place to be. Wilson's sugarcoating of those facts is shameful. Why would any sane American want to get a tourist visa to a country where they could be imperiled just for thinking negatively about the autocracy?

Wolf Blitzer made Susan Rice look silly on the faustian deal. Wilson looks silly just by acting ignorant.
