A most telling example of gender segregation under Islam turned up at a London university of Leicester, and some of the women attending may also have included non-Muslims:

Female students were banned from speaking at a 'degrading' university seminar at a top London university, it has emerged.

Women attending the class at Queen Mary University were also forced to walk through a 'sisters only' entrance before taking their seats at the event which was held by the university's Islamic society.

The event last month forced female attendees to write down their questions for Ustadh Abu Abdillah, while male students raised their hands to be addressed by the speaker.

One woman who was present at the event titled Deception of the Dunya described the experience as 'degrading'.

She told the Sunday Times: 'Its not just about segregation but also about how they're treating women.'

Exactly. So why don't they just wake up and smell reality?

Earlier this week it was revealed female students at the University of Leicester were forced to sit rows behind male peers at a similar seminar where attendees directed questions to a guest speaker from a hardline Islamist group.

ONTARIO AUTHORITIES REMOVE 2 CHILDREN FROM LEV TAHOR

Finally, some justice is being done by removing at least 2 of the children from the Islam-influenced cult:

Local authorities have removed two toddlers from the controversial ultra-Orthodox Jewish community Lev Tahor which recently relocated from Quebec to the Chatham-Kent area, ahead of a bid by Quebec officials to place 14 other children into foster care.

The two youngsters who were taken by Chatham-Kent Children’s Services are a brother and sister, and were removed last Thursday, community member Uriel Goldman said in an interview. [...]

It is unclear who is caring for the two siblings. Mr. Knowles said it is unlikely there are Hassidic families in the Chatham area that could provide a Jewish orthodox foster environment for the toddlers, a brother and sister.

That's always their defense, that youngsters from purportedly Haredi families must be put in the custody of the same. No, I think being in non-Haredi custody is just as good - even better - than being in the clutches of such an awful cult.

This is a good step taken, but the other 14 children still need to be removed from that awful cult as well.

JAPANESE DIPLOMAT STABBED DURING ATTEMPTED KIDNAPPING IN YEMEN

A Japanese politician survived an attack by jihadists in Yemen:

Armed men stabbed a Japanese diplomat in the Yemeni capital Sanaa today when he resisted a kidnapping attempt near his house, a security source said.

It was the latest in a spate of attacks on foreigners in the impoverished Arab state, where the government is struggling to restore law and order since former president Ali Abdullah Saleh stepped aside in late 2011 following mass protests.

The source said the diplomat was in a stable condition in hospital after being stabbed in the head and hand with a dagger.

A taxi carrying two armed men pulled over in front of the diplomat’s car while he was driving alone on his way to the embassy and attacked him with a knife, a spokesman for the Japanese embassy in Sanaa said.

The diplomat, who is the second secretary at the embassy, suffered several stab wounds, he said.

“I saw him after the attack... He is at the hospital now for treatment and checkup,” said the spokesman, adding he did not know if the attack was an attempt to kidnap the diplomat.

He's lucky to survive. Yemen is obviously not a safe place for people from civilized countries if they're being overrun with al Qaeda terrorists.
