NYC mayor will allow mosque loudspeakers to blare

For the 22nd year since September 11, New York City mayor Eric Adams is going to allow Islamic mosques to operate loudspeakers:

The Ground Zero Mosque was something from another decade. All of New York City is becoming overrun with mosques. There’s even an official city guide to the best terror mosques to visit while in the city.

Now, Mayor Eric Adams has great news for anyone who likes being woken by Jihadist shrieks in the morning.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams and New York City Police Department (NYPD) Commissioner Edward A. Caban today launched a new NYPD initiative to support and facilitate the Islamic call to public prayer at regularly prescribed times each Friday and during the holy month of Ramadan. The effort represents a historic step forward in Mayor Adams’ continued efforts to foster a city that respects all faiths and allows people to practice their traditions safely and free from harassment.

“For too long, there has been a feeling that our communities were not allowed to amplify their calls to prayer,” said Mayor Adams. “Today, we are cutting red tape and saying clearly that mosques and houses of worship are free to amplify their call to prayer on Fridays and during Ramadan without a permit necessary. We want our brothers and sisters of Muslim faith to know that they are free to live their faith in New York City because, under the law, we will all be treated equally. Our administration is proud to finally get this done.”

No one is stopping mosques from hosting their calls for the death of infidels, but can it be done quietly? Nope, it’s gotta be “amplified” much as it was in the days of Mohammed through massive loudspeaker systems.

New Yorkers had already been complaining about mosque aural terror.

It's bad enough with all the illegal immigrants Adams has otherwise allowed to crowd up the burg (and NY governor Kathy Hochul's allowed it too). Mainly because it takes away attention from serious issues like these. If this is how Adams is going to run NYC, then he's not serious about opposing antisemitism, as he supposedly did some time ago.

I visited NYC about 2 decades ago. But with the way things are going there now, heading for dhimmitude, I don't ever want to visit there again.

Unlike Judeo-Christian city councils, Muslim-led councils in USA are allowed to clamp down on LGBTQ propaganda without serious complaints

The all-Islamic city council of Hamtramck, Michigan, which is in the area around Detroit, voted to ban LGBTQ flags from city property, which a Judeo-Christian council would be unlikely to do without opposition, nor a Buddhist-led one:

The all-Muslim city council of Hamtramck, Michigan, voted unanimously on Tuesday to approve a resolution that would ban the LGBTQ+ Pride flag from being flown on the city’s public property.

The resolution, proposed by Mayor Pro-Tem Muhammad Hassan, also bars any religious, ethnic, racial, political, or sexual orientation group flags from being flown on city property and only allows the American flag to be flown, along with state and city flags, other national flags, and the Prisoner of War flag, according to Click on Detroit.

The resolution passed “after three hours of public comments and months of intense debate,” the Detroit Free Press reported.

“Hassan and other members of the council said the LGBTQ+ community and others are welcome in Hamtramck but that they need to respect religious freedom,” according to the report. “Some proponents of the resolution said the Pride flag clashes with their faith. Several speakers from Dearborn who were leaders in protests last year against LGBTQ books spoke at the Hamtramck meeting, saying American soldiers sacrificed for the U.S. flag, not the Pride flag.”

City Councilman Nayeem Choudhury said LGBTQ+ people will not be discriminated against in the city but should also respect the religious liberty of the city’s Muslim community.

“We want to respect the religious rights of our citizens,” Choudhury said. “You guys are welcome. … (but) why do you have to have the flag shown on government property to be represented? You’re already represented. We already know who you are. … By making this (about) bigotry … it’s making it like you want to hate us.”

City council members also commented that the code was not about targeting a specific group, stating: “If you let one flag in, you’ll have to let all of the flags in.”

An immigrant from Yemen spoke in favor of the resolution, stating that while the city “respect[s] all nations, cultures, and their flags…we only salute the American flag.”

Here's some more on this subject. This is another telling example of how Muslims are made to look like they're literally patriotic and truly respect anything considered pro-American, in classic taqqiya (deception) style. And, don't be shocked if no genuine backlash ensues from LGBTQ activists. After all, if they're not forcing this garbage on Muslim-led countries, then they wont be forcing it on Muslim societies in the USA either by any stretch. That's not saying it doesn't happen in the USA, if we consider this example Abigail Shrier spoke about 2 years ago. But anybody who believes leftist-run state governments in the long run will target Muslims for this propaganda is mistaken, and what's happened in Michigan can certainly confirm as much. As noted before, this could all be part of propaganda efforts intended to soften people's views of Islam itself, which is very risky.

And despite what's been reported, Islam does have double-standards on homosexuality when it comes to children, and this even occurred in Afghanistan while USA military forces were working there. As a result, it seems pretty bizarre as you could expect that Islamists anywhere would seemingly oppose LGBTQ ideology even as there's Islamofascists who do practice it, even if only in a selective way. Some could wonder if LGBTQ apologists for child abuse borrowed a page from the Religion of Peace, and for all we know, that just might be the case. Bad ideologies can always borrow from each other.

FORCING AMERICA INTO DHIMMITUDE

Various Muslim organizations, several of which are arms of the Muslim Brotherhood or like groups, sent a letter dated October 19, 2011, to several high-ranking federal officials.

According to Thomas More Law Center, in an entry entitled "Muslim Letter that Prompted the Pentagon to Purge Military Instruction 'Offensive to Islam,'" dated September 20, 2012:

A letter dated October 19, 2011 signed by 57 Muslim organizations, was sent to the White House with copies to other federal officials responsible for national security, including Secretary of the Department of Defense, Leon Panetta. The letter demanded that all training materials that they judge to be offensive to Islam be “purged” and instructors “are effectively disciplined.”

Following that letter, in April 2012, Army Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) Matthew Dooley, a highly decorated combat veteran, was publically condemned by General Martin Dempsey, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and relieved of his teaching assignment at the Joint Forces Staff College (JFSC). The reason: the negative way Islam was portrayed in his elective course entitled, Perspectives on Islam and Islamic Radicalism.

On May 10, 2012, during a Pentagon press conference with Defense Secretary Panetta seated next to him, General Martin Dempsey expressed negative opinions regarding the Perspectives on Islam and Islamic Radicalism course, characterizing it as "totally objectionable" and "against our values." General Dempsey personally committed to removing any similar curriculum from military professional education within the JFSC and elsewhere....

We as individuals can scream, "I will not submit," until our faces turn blue and our voices are hoarse. But if our government and our military submit in the fashion described in the above link, we are done for with regard to preserving the American ideals of liberty.

MOSQUES IN AMERICA

See this essay by Dr. Andrew Bostom. As usual, Dr. Bostom's work is erudite. In his essay, he shows that mosques are more than places of worship; rather, they are barracks.

Of course, those of us informed as to Islam's various methods of Islamic supremacism are not surprised by the above contention.

But there are a few "surprises" in the essay. One of those "surprises," yet another of America's Presidents who understood the threat of jihad:

How few history textbooks today present this perspective - even though most history texts laud Theodore Roosevelt for his promotion of conservationism with his setting aside land for nature preserves and national parks.

Last month, Snyder flew 12 disabled Americans to Damascus to meet a group of disabled young Syrians. One of their main goals was to come up with ideas for the new superhero.

In my view, the upcoming convention of Reviving Islam the Islamic Spirit would be a good place to send in federal agents to discover seditionists and arrest them.

Of course, the Obama administration doesn't care one whit about stopping Islamic infiltration or protecting America. Remember, BHO has stated that we just "respect" Islam. Pffffft!

THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION AND THE FORT HOOD JIHAD

Two U.S. senators vowed on Thursday to subpoena the Obama administration next week unless it produces information sought in a congressional investigation of last year’s rampage at the Texas military base in which 13 soldiers were killed.

They said the Justice and Defense departments had until Monday to provide the information or face legal action.

The BHO administration doesn’t want made public or used in any investigation anything which puts Islam in a bad light — the true light, really.

Let's recall that BHO said in one of his books (paraphrase): "If the political winds shift, I will stand with the Muslims."

And standing with the Muslims he is.

FREE SPEECH FADES AWAY IN BRITAIN

Robert Spencer writes on Human Events about how Britain is shutting out free speech in discussing Islam and jihad (Hat tip: The Hot Joints):

The current state of Britain came most clearly into focus, however, not when we visited the mosques, but when we tried to have dinner. I had an illuminating dinner with a group including the notable British author and freedom fighter Douglas Murray that turned out to offer a bracing introduction to British dhimmitude: the dinner had to be moved at the last minute since the proprietors of the George Restaurant in the aptly-named Isle of Dogs district of London didn’t like us discussing jihad and Islamization on the premises. This was despite the fact that the dinner had been planned to be on-camera and had been cleared with the George in advance.

In fact, when I returned to the George the next night with the producers of the film, we were not allowed entry because the previous night we had been discussing jihad and Islamic supremacism.

Were the proprietors of the George Restaurant hard-line Leftists who viewed jihadists as their allies in the struggle against American imperialism? Or were they frightened by the prospect of the local Muslims, who live in that area in considerable numbers, exacting revenge against the place for daring to host a meeting of the Resistance?

Most likely they were afraid of their own government, which frowns upon those who question the wisdom or viability of the multicultural paradise they are intent upon creating. For when we finally tried to assemble in another place a roundtable of concerned British citizens to discuss the problem of the Islamization of Britain, one by one the British participants dropped out. If they appeared on camera, we were told, the government could and probably would threaten their livelihood.

On a related note, some may accuse Scotland's local government body of freeing the horrific terrorist Abdel Basset Ali al-Megrahi, of the masterminds in the Lockerbie bombing, but if they're under control of the government in England, then one has to wonder if the decision to release the vile creature came from the main government, though I fully agree that Scotland's own local government must still shoulder considerable blame for their willingness to release a monster who was also responsible for the murders of many Scots back in 1988. UK MUSLIMS COULD GET THEIR OWN POLICE UNIT

MUSLIM crime victims could gain the right to have their cases overseen by police from their own religion, it emerged last night.

Police in London already give victims the right to ask for a Sikh officer to be involved in an investigation but the scheme could be introduced for other religions elsewhere.

Chief Supt Joanna Young, from the Met’s Criminal Justice Policy Unit, said: “If it’s a success, I would encourage the other (police) associations to do likewise.”

The project is intended to help investigate “honour” killings and forced marriages but Metropolitan Police Federation chairman Peter Smyth said: “We’re stretched thin enough already. Are Sikh officers going to have their rotas changed so there’s always one on duty?

“It’s political correctness gone mad. We talking about the creation of a separate force within a force.”

And how many members of this madness will actually end up assisting honor murders rather than preventing them?

CAIR Crows Over BHO

First thing on this morning's news, before I had even gotten down my first cup of coffee, one of the local news channels here welcomed CAIR's co-founder and Director Nihad Awad for a smarmy interview, in which the news anchor appeared thrilled to be graced with the presence of one of those Moslems to whom BHO has reached out at least three times since taking office last January 20 — most recently, yesterday in Turkey.

In this morning's interview, according to Nihad Awad, who participated in a 1993 Hamas meeting in the United States — a fact apparently unknown by the interviewer — BHO is an American President who understands the following: "American Muslims have suffered tremendously since 9/11." Perennial victimhood in the typical style of CAIR, and the news anchor nodded both solemnly and eagerly in agreement as she sucked down the Kool-aid in huge gulps.

I, on the other hand, nearly choked on my coffee....

FORMER SPANISH PM SUGGESTS MUSLIMS SHOULD APOLOGIZE FOR CONQUERING SPAIN

The International Herald Tribune (via Kishkushim and Chazarah) has criticized Muslims for demanding an apology from the Pope for his own remarks about Islam:

MADRID, Spain Former prime minister Jose Maria Aznar has criticized Muslim demands for the pope to apologize for his remarks about Islam, suggesting it is unfair when the Islamic world has not asked forgiveness for such grievances as the 800-year Moorish occupation of Spain.

Aznar, speaking Friday night at the Hudson Institute, a thinktank in Washington, D.C., also said a United Nations program to encourage dialogue between Muslim and Western countries made no sense because some Muslim countries like Iran are too radical to deal with.

Aznar said he found it surprising that Muslims have demanded an apology from Pope Benedict XVI over his Sept. 12 remarks quoting a Byzantine emperor who characterized some of the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad as "evil and inhuman," particularly "his command to spread by the sword the faith."

The pope said Sunday that he was "deeply sorry" about the reactions to his remarks and that they did not reflect his own opinions. But did not issue the direct apology still demanded by some Muslim leaders who were offended by his remarks.

Aznar noted the nearly 800-year Moorish occupation of Spain, which began in the year 711 with an invasion from North Africa. He said in English: "I never (heard) any Muslim apologize (to) me (for) conquer(ing) Spain and to maintain a presence in Spain during eight centuries."

"What is the reason ... we, the West, always should be apologiz(ing) and they never should ... apologize? It's absurd."

He also criticized an initiative launched by his Socialist successor, Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, to encourage dialogue between the West and Muslim countries. It is called the Alliance of Civilizations and has been formally adopted by the United Nations.

Aznar said some Muslim countries such as Iran are too radical to engage in dialogue with.

And if only Barack Obama would start considering this too. Aznar most definitely has what Zapatero doesn't.

A MOSQUE NEAR THE NORTH POLE

Guess where the latest plan is to build a mosque?

While the North Pole’s landscape may evoke images of igloos and barren snow fields, the crescent moon and minaret will soon vie for their place in Norway’s Arctic thanks to a Saudi businessman’s donation to build the region’s first mosque.

A Saudi businessman has donated 20 million Krone ($2.78 million) to build the first mosque in the Arctic region, near the northern part of Norway, according to a news report published by a local Saudi newspaper.

It's just like Norway to do something like this, and allow the House of Saud to build a foothold for the Ummah in a district of theirs.

Ellison, who serves on the Financial Services and Judiciary Committees, forgot where he came from? He forgot he is supposed to be an American — and, having taken the oath of office, as a public servant in the United States Congress?

Oh, wait.

Ellison took the oath, at least symbolically, on the Koran. Allah and the ummah come first and foremost for him.

THE FLIGHT 93 MEMORIAL

Now that 9/11 is some seven years in the past, attention to what the Flight 93 Memorial really represents has waned. In my view, we need to revisit what's been going on in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

The present design of the memorial in not a fitting design for those brave individuals who refused to let United Flight 93 be used as a deadly missile, as were the other flights which reached their targets on 9/11.

Does 9/11 matter so little now that we are going to sit back and allow this atrocity of a memorial to become a reality, without even raising our voices in outrage? Do we care so little about the passengers and legitimate flight crew, all of whose lives were sacrificed so as to prevent the airliner from reaching its destination, that we just say "Oh, well"?

ISLAMIFIED JUDGES

Apparently one is sitting on the bench of the U.S. District Court in Alexandria, Virginia. And this September 14, 2008 article in the local section of the Washington Post shows a slant toward Islamophilia when reporting on prosecutor U.S. attorney Gordon Kromberg:

Relentless Terrorism Prosecutor Faces Accusations of His Own

Sami al-Arian, one of the nation's most prominent terrorism defendants, was about to be released into his daughter's custody to await a new trial on contempt charges. Assistant U.S. Attorney Gordon Kromberg protested, saying that "in this particular culture," a woman could not prevent her father from fleeing.

U.S. District Judge Leonie M. Brinkema lashed out at the prosecutor, calling his remark about the Muslim family insulting. Earlier, she had chastised Kromberg for changing a boilerplate immunity order beyond the language spelled out by Congress and questioned whether Arian's constitutional rights had been violated.

"I'm not in any respect attributing evil motives or anything clandestine to you, but I think it's real scary and not wise for a prosecutor to provide an order to the Court that does not track the explicit language of the statutes, especially this particular statute," Brinkema said at the hearing in the Alexandria courtroom.

"Gordon is very effective and professional," said Andrew McCarthy, a former federal terrorism prosecutor. "As long as nothing goes boom, they want to say you're an Islamophobe. The moment something does go boom, if the next 9/11 happens, God help anyone who says they weren't as aggressive as Gordon."...

Andrew McCarthy understands what's at stake. But with judges such as Brinkema sitting on the bench, all of us are less safe and more of these jihadists will continue to escape our legal system.

But the Arian case escalated the tension. Arian pleaded guilty to one count of supporting Palestinian Islamic Jihad in Tampa in 2006 after a federal jury acquitted him or deadlocked on other counts. The judge who sentenced Arian to 57 months in prison called Arian a "master manipulator" who had been a "leader" of the terrorist group.

Kromberg sought Arian's testimony in the Islamic charities probe and refused to delay his appearance until after the Muslim holiday of Ramadan because, he said, that would aid the "Islamization" of the courts, according to an affidavit filed by one of Arian's attorneys, Jack Fernandez.

"They can kill each other during Ramadan, they can appear before the grand jury. All they can't do is eat before sunset," Kromberg said ...

Prosecutor Kromberg is stating a fact. And saying so gets him branded as an Islamophobe.

Leftist judges don't want to know the facts about Islam and don't want those facts brought out in court, either. No wonder so many of the "terror trials" end in acquittals and mistrials!

ISLAMOPHILIA AT THE KENNEDY CENTER

This March 12, 2008 article in the Washington Post details some of the programs in 2008-2009 season at the Kennedy Center and starts out innocuously enough, albeit with an odd sentence about Arab unity:

The Arab world will be united. Various anniversaries will be duly commemorated. And two different "Ragtimes" will be exhumed, one a musical and the other a Balanchine ballet. These were among the highlights of yesterday's announcement of the Kennedy Center's 2008-09 season.

Then comes the information about the allotted budget:

Next year, the center's annual package-tour festival takes on, rather than a single country, the 22 nations of the Arab League, from Egypt to Somalia. The three-week festival (Feb. 25-March 15) is called "Arabesque: Arts of the Arab World," and represents one of the center's most ambitious projects to date. It has a $10 million budget (well over the approximately $6 million for this year's Japan festival) and will entail, among other things, the construction of a souk on the Kennedy Center premises.

Next, comes the Palestinian propaganda and the blatant Islamophilia:

Theater offerings include a play called "Alive From Palestine: Stories Under Occupation." Among the concerts is an evening of sacred music representing the broad range of religions actually present under the Arab umbrella.

Here is the schedule for "Arabesque." The specifics are not yet available, but I would not be the least bit surprised to learn that "Arabesque" will offer performances specifically tailored for audiences of children. Many schools in the D.C. area take field trips to the Kennedy Center, as part of their curricula for appreciation of the fine arts.

As many times as I've attended events at the Kennedy Center, I've never seen hijab-wearing muslimas or other obvious Muslims. So, who is the Arab Festival for? For us infidels, of course, and for the purpose of indoctrination in Islamophilia and dhimmitude.
