The Arab/Muslim Knesset members continue to abuse their status:
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday evening asked Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit to explore the legal steps that could be taken against three Arab MKs who held a meeting with the relatives of terrorists killed carrying out attacks on Israelis.

Netanyahu and Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein said Thursday that they were jointly lodging an unprecedented complaint to the Knesset’s Ethics Committee against the three, saying the meeting constituted incitement and “encouragement to murder.”

In a statement Thursday, Netanyahu said the MKs were “not worthy to serve” in the Knesset.

“Members of Knesset who go to comfort the families of terrorists who murdered Israelis do not deserve to be in the Israeli Knesset,” he said.
There must be found a way to exile such disgusting people from politics. For too long, they've been abusing their positions, and now look what's happened. It's an act that's been condemned across the political spectrum, and no decent person should have anything to do with those monsters.

The Federalist wrote about how liberals today are creating environments that help lead to hostility from within (Hat tip: Hot Air):
What’s more is that today’s liberals—who control most of education, including the public schools and colleges these immigrant children eventually attend—relentlessly teach immigrants and minority groups that they’re perpetual victims of a racist American society, and that they should hate the governing system that granted their ancestors protection.

Indeed, many on the Left have completely abandoned assimilation, which they regard only as a synonym for “racism,” “xenophobia,” and “white supremacy,” while worshipping their religions of multiculturalism, diversity, and tolerance. It’s likely because of the global Left’s obsessive, coercive commitment to these principles that German police attempted to cover up the sexual assault epidemic—something authorities in other European nations have also been doing—to protect refugees from any perceived “discrimination.”

While there may be no apparent threat in admitting fleeing Muslim families to the United States, liberals are creating an environment for potentially deadly anti-American sentiment to fester when they encourage migrants to simultaneously preserve their native culture and abhor their new American one.
This begs the questions: do liberals actually want the USA to be racist? Or, would they prefer it remain so and never be changed for the better? If that's what they actually want, it'd be the ultimate definition of insanity.

The two minors involved in the murder of the Arabic boy in east Jerusalem got sentenced, while the third is still pending:
Two of the three convicted murderers in the Muhammad Abu Khdeir case were sentenced Thursday in the Jerusalem District Court.

The first, a 17-year-old, received a life sentence plus three years, and the second, age 16, received 21 years. Their names are still under a gag order.

The third murderer, Yosef Haim Ben-David, was not sentenced and is still attempting an insanity plea.

While the life sentence for one minor was issued in a unanimous 3-0 decision, the judges split 2-1 on the 21-year sentence for the second minor, with Judges Jacob Zaban and Rivka Friedman-Feldman voting for 21 years and Judge Raphael Carmel voting for a life sentence.

Abu Khdeir, a 16-year-old from Shuafat in northeastern Jerusalem, was abducted, burned and brutally murdered on July 2, 2014, while waiting to enter a mosque.

The murder was carried out as a nationalist revenge killing following the well-publicized kidnapping and murder of three Jewish teenagers in June 2014.
All they did was desecrate Judaism while setting back all valid concerns by eons. Now one of them threw away his future by reacting so horribly and inappropriately to the tragedy. The one who's trying to hide behind insanity pleas will probably get the same sentence too. And they'll have to ponder how they went wrong behind bars for a long time.

The police in Germany have been taking action against likely terrorists:
German forces arrested two men on Thursday suspected of links to Islamic State militants preparing an attack in the German capital, police and prosecutors said, amid fears of another deadly attack on European soil.

Police and special forces raided four flats and two offices in Berlin and properties in the northern regions of North Rhine-Westphalia and Lower Saxony.

“Specifically [the raids] concern possible plans for an attack in Germany, even more specifically in Berlin,” Martin Steltner, a spokesman for Berlin prosecutors, said.

Berlin police spokesman Stefan Redlich said the authorities were investigating four Algerian men. Police detained two men and a woman.

“Our understanding is that the four men accused could have planned to carry out such an attack together,” Mr Steltner said.

German media reported that central Berlin landmarks and tourist attractions Checkpoint Charlie and Alexanderplatz were targets.
I don't suppose they're also willing to start making arrests of potential rapists as well, after the horror that took place in Cologne?

Wouldn't you know it, for the week of the Iowa primaries, boilerplate leftist Kurt Busiek has chosen to mouth off with the cheapest attacks on the GOP:

As a matter of fact, many Islamists in the USA haven't for about a decade now. All because the public woke up and began to research and understand what's wrong with Islam. This article from the Intl. Business Times, though not entirely honest about "minorities", does note that the shift to Democrats among Islamists began around 9-11. And that's bound to include plenty of Muslims in Iowa too. So why's Busiek acting like this is something new? It isn't.

Challenging question: if one of those aforementioned refugees came into Iowa or anywhere else in the USA, and later started gathering equipment with which to commit violent acts of terrorism like the terrible incidents in Fort Hood and San Bernardino, or even rape, much like what happened several weeks ago in Cologne, Germany when many women were mass raped at the city's train station, would Busiek want that to happen? Would he even express any regret if, God forbid, it happened? For now, the sad answer is probably "no". This was of course the same man who acted oblivious to the violence committed by one of Dark Horse's editors against several staffers in the months after the case made headlines, basically pretending it had never happened, as much of the comics press now appears intent on doing, proving they're not truly interested in bettering the workplace. Like I said, that's why Busiek cannot be considered somebody for sensible women and men to consult on serious issues. Say, how come, if he's so bothered about GOP members condemning Islam, he can't say the same about any of the wider public whose opinions are negative? Panning politicians is just a cheap way of voicing grievances meant for the public, dismaying as that would be if he did so.

It's certainly telling when the only topic somebody like Busiek can think of commenting on is something like Islam, acting as an apologist and vehemently refusing to look under a magnifying glass. I'm sure tomorrow, he'll be acting as apologist for Satmar socialists too, and many of them have also supported the Democrats and Obama. A real shame a once decent writer is making himself look incompetent today by wasting his time on politics in the worst ways possible.

Robert Spencer's written about Obama's visit to a mosque in Baltimore with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood:
After seven years of pandering to and appeasing the Muslim Brotherhood and Iran, Barack Obama will mark the crowning moment of his presidency: today he will -- for the first time as president -- visit a mosque in the United States.

A White House official says he intends to “celebrate the contributions Muslim Americans make to our nation.” The Washington Post added that he was making the trip “to promote religious tolerance at a time when rhetoric linking Islam with terrorism is growing.”

In other words, Obama is going to the mosque because of Donald Trump, Ben Carson, and other Republican candidates whom the media has roasted for linking Islam with terrorism.

Of course, the mosque he has chosen to visit is ... the Muslim Brotherhood-linked Islamic Society of Baltimore. Obama is more concerned with Republican rhetoric linking Islam with terrorism than with the increase in such rhetoric emanating from Muslims themselves, drawn directly from Islamic canon.

The latest Islamic State video is titled “Kill Them Wherever You Find Them”. This is a quotation from the Qur’an (2:191, 4:89, 9:5).
Naturally, what the Republican candidates say is just that much more important than any serious problems the MB and the mosque are causing. Once again, he's taken some of the most embarrassing and harmful directions possible, all for the sake of PC.

They don't want to admit Muslim "migrants" are causing the rape crisis in Europe (via Jihad Watch):
There is ‘no link’ between the migrant crisis and the wave of sex attacks in Cologne during New Year celebrations, EU officials believe. Above, fireworks were thrown into the New Year’s crowd outside Cologne’s main station, prompting members of the public to flee

They document the first vice president of the European Commission, Frans Timmermans, stating that the two events are ‘not related’, according to Matthew Holehouse for The Telegraph.

Minutes state: ‘As far as the crimes in Cologne were concerned, he [Timmermans] said that these were a matter of public order and were not related to the refugee crisis.’

They also suggest officials want ‘the unconditional rejection of false associations between certain criminal acts, such as the attacks on women in Cologne on New Year’s Eve, and the mass influx of refugees’.
This should be perfect proof why no sane person would want their country being part of the EU itself, if this is how they're going to conduct their policies, and even another reason why the Euro currency should be rejected. The EU is a textbook example of a dhimmified operation seeking to destroy their own continent.

The reaction by a certain segment of the public in Japan to what this cartoonist drew is galling:
A Tokyo publisher and bookstore have responded to public protests by cancelling a just-announced signing event involving a cartoonist whose works have been criticized of stoking hatred of Syrian refugees and other minorities.

Seirindo Co published in December a collection of illustrations by Toshiko Hasumi, titled “Soda nammin shiyo! - Hasumi Toshiko no sekai” (That’s right, I should become a refugee! - the world of Toshiko Hasumi). The title came from a highly provocative post Hasumi made on Facebook in September.

Hasumi posted on the social networking site an illustration of a rebellious-looking young Syrian refugee girl with a comment listing the things she would like to do, like “I want to live safely. I want a clean life. I want to eat something delicious” and “I want to dress up. I want luxury.”

The comment was concluded with words, “With other people’s money. That’s right, I should become a refugee!” The post angered many people, but the book cover uses the same illustration of the girl, which was based on a photograph of a Syrian refugee.

According to Shosen Grande, a bookstore in Tokyo’s bookselling enclave of Jimbocho, the signing event and a question and answer session with Hasumi was scheduled to take place at the bookstore on Feb 11.

After making the announcement of the event on its website on Tuesday, the bookstore received dozens of phone calls from people criticizing it for “becoming an accomplice of discrimination” among other things.

The protests prompted the bookstore to consult Seirindo the following day, before deciding that the event should be called off.

A spokesperson representing the publisher said the cancellation is “out of consideration that the event might cause trouble” to customers of the bookstore, which “was inundated with” protests.
Well this is sad. So there's a certain amount of people in Japan who buy into the notion all "migrants" now stuffing Europe are all well-meaning, even after the horrific incident in Cologne's train station in Germany? Or worse, do they see socialism as legitimate? That's pretty bad. Yet this is a country that, unlike most of Europe, isn't hell-bent on flinging their doors wide open to just anybody. They shouldn't have demanded that the store call off a book signing; just boycotted it, yet all they can think of is demanding a potential curtail on free speech. That's not a good sign.
