Ann Althouse RAN out and bought an IPAD as SOON AS SHE COULD, SWEPT UP in the frenzy Apple created.
Now she has buyer's remorse. NOW she's posting about all of the IPAD's shortcomings - shortcomings which were evident to most before they bought the dang thing, shortcomings which she would've discovered BEFORE buying the dang thing if she had done her DUE DILIGENCE WELL.
This is EXACTLY how she selected her candidate in 2008 - when she voted for OBAMA.
We all told her that Obama wasn't a centrist, that he was a leftist - A SOCIALIST.She didn't listen.
She BOUGHT INTO THE OBAMA PR - or should, I say BS. Just like how she bought into the IPAD BS.
Gullible IPAD buyer; gullible voter.
Should we have expected more wisdom from a LAW PROFESSOR!?
Nope: after all, Obama is one, too!
LOOK: I admire Althouse's honesty and openness and the generosity of her posts. And she's a cute blond!
Sadly, her posts too often reveal exactly this kind of sloppy gullibility.
And she gets a zillion hits for it.
Sigh.

We were having that problem over at IBA too.
Obama was NOT a law professor. He was a lecturer at a law school but conducted no classes. That is well documented to anyone with access to an internet search engine.
BTW, is she the source of all the blond jokes?

Her blog's popularity is almost entirely due to Glenn Reynolds of Instapundit being a big fan and linker.
Of course, Reynolds thinks Obama's cohort Cass Sunstein is a smart and fair lib so he's not without a serious blind spot.
As for Althouse, for Madison, she IS fairly right-wing. Locked in that little world, it's not hard for imagination to run wild and create a "conservative" self-image.
She didn't just vote for the guy from Hyde Park- she proselytized on his behalf as if he was some sort of intellectual cool dude.
