In the great Terminator series, we modern civilized humans are under attack by robots.
In the first movie, a robot comes back from the future to kill the woman who would give birth to the man who later defeats them - and to kill her before she gives birth.
In other words, to control our destiny, the enemy travels BACK in time. The heroes in this movie must defeat the robot from the future to save our future.
The current phase of Global Jihad is just the opposite: jihadists are in a sense from a BYGONE era - at least they are animated by an ideology which is deeply - yea INEXTRICABLY rooted in pre-modern values.
In a sense, they have traveled from September 11, 1683 to the present time in order to reestablish a global caliphate.Unlike the Terminator, this is real; it ain't fiction, baby!
This is - like Terminator - a battle not just for how we may live now, but for our future: how our children and our children's children may live.
What future do you want your granddaughter to have - or her granddaughter?
WHAT WE DO KNOW WILL EFFECT HOW THEY LIVE.
OR EVEN IF THEY SHALL EVER BE BORN...
