Rasmussen Reports:

45% Say Cancel Rest of Stimulus Spending — Forty-five percent (45%) of Americans say the rest of the new government spending authorized in the $787-billion economic stimulus plan should now be canceled. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that just 36% disagree and 20% are not sure.

WE SAID IT HERE, A WHILE BACK - ALONG WITH KUDLOW!

BOTTOM-LINE:

• THEY PASSED THAT BECAUSE THEY ARGUED THAT THE RECESSION WAS VERGING ON A DEPRESSION.

• THAT WAS A LIE: THE RECESSION IS NO WORSE THAN 1983 OR 1974.

• THEY LIED TO PASS THE STIMULUS WHICH IS A BOONDOGGLE TO REWARD DEMOCRAT MACHINE AND IS A TROJAN HORSE FOR SOCIALISM.

• IT'S ALSO VERY BAD FOR THE GLOBAL ECONOMY.

• IF WE RESCIND IT, THEN TREASURY BORROWING WILL GO DOWN, INTEREST RATES WILL GO DOWN AND THE DOLLAR WILL GO UP.

• AND THE WORLD WILL BE BETTER OFF.
