The IDF has begun withdrawing from its posts in Gaza, without having even actually obliterated Hamas. And if they haven't, then the chances they'll resurrect themselves still holds.
Obviously, and disgustingly, no lesson was learned from the second Lebanon war almost 3 years ago.

i agree that the idf should have kept fighting until hamas was obliterated, but disagree that this war or the last against hizballah was a loss:
leb has been quiet for 3 years. if gaza stays quiet for 3 too then it was a good war.
it gives the idf time to prepare for attacking iran.
