Fran stood by her spouse, and the couple secured an amended certificate, putting “Denise” next to “bridegroom” for lack of other options.

And the magazine section featured young "newlyweds" in Massachusetts -- men who think they are married to other men. It is no wonder that the New York Times is going out of business, when so much of its pages are devoted to such extreme fringe obsessions.
