Scan Eagle ready for launch from US Navy special warfare boat
SAN CLEMENTE ISLAND, Calif. - Photo caption -Civilian contractors recover a Scan Eagle unmanned aerial vehicle launched from a MK V naval special warfare boat off the coast of San Clemente Island. This is the first time a Scan Eagle, used for various applications such as intelligence gathering and battle damage assessment, has been launched from this kind of platform.
