Asked about what he could do about "inner-city kids partaking in violence" at the MTV/MySpace Forum yesterday, Democratic candidate John Edwards offered an apocalyptic prediction for young black males:
“We cannot build enough prisons to solve this problem. And the idea that we can keep incarcerating and keep incarcerating — pretty soon we’re not going to have a young African-American male population in America. They’re all going to be in prison or dead. One of the two.”
- I THINK HE SHOULD APOLOGIZE AND QUIT THE RACE.
- HE IS UNFIT FOR OFFICE.
THE FACT THAT NEITHER THE LEFT, THE MSM, JESSE JACKSON OR AL SHARPTON HAS DEMANDED EDWARDS APOLOGIZE AND QUIT PROVES THEY'RE HYPOCRITES. AND PARTISANS.

I couldn't believe this when I heard it today. Which party has the racists in it????????
Are you kidding me? What is anti-black about those words? Do you take his comments literally? He is not implying that we SHOULD, but are just not able to build more prisons to contain young black men. He is saying that incarerating young black men is not a solution to the ills that plague that demographic slice and a problem in our society as a whole.
