Romney, who was in Washington on Friday to speak at the Israeli American Council’s national conference, has experienced a resurgence of sorts in recent months, as dozens of campaigns asked for his assistance. He spent the final days before Tuesday’s elections in Alaska, where he stumped for Republican Senate candidate Dan Sullivan.
At Friday’s event, Romney sharply criticized President Obama’s foreign policy. “It’s tempting to think he’s just inept,” Romney said, “but the reality is, he does have a foreign policy” — one that is “weakening our military and distancing us from our allies.”I THINK THE ABOVE PROVES ONCE AGAIN THAT ROMNEY REALLY GETS IT AND THAT HE WOULD MAKE A GREAT POTUS.
WE MIGHT FIND A BETTER CANDIDATE FOR 2016.
WE CERTAINLY COULD DO WORSE.
IT TOOK REAGAN A FEW DEFEATS TO GET THE HANG OF IT.
EVEN LINCOLN LOST TO STEPHEN DOUGLAS A FEW TIMES.
I THINK HE'D BE BETTER THAN JEB AND HUNTSMAN AND SANTORUM ANDTHAT HE'S GOT BETTER EXECUTIVE EXPERIENCE THAN RUBIO OR CRUZ.
PERRY WAS A DUD LAST TIME; MAYBE HE'LL IMPROVE THIS TIME - BUT HE'S STILL TEXAN AND A LOT OF THE SWING VOTERS STILL HAVE TEXAS-FATIGUE.
WALKER IS GREAT, BUT NO COLLEGE AND NO MILITARY EXPERIENCE AND HE LOOKS LIKE A KID.
KASICH IS A GOOD ONE: HE'S GOT GREAT EXPERIENCE IN CONGRESS AND AS A GOVERNOR.
MARTINEZ IS GOOD, TOO.
I'D LIKE TO SEE ROMNEY, PERRY, WALKER, MARTINEZ, AND KASICH DEBATE.
ANY OF THEM WOULD MAKE A FINE POTUS. AND A FINE VEEP.
