WHY SHOULDN'T NETANYAHU SHOULDER BLAME?

Jonathan Tobin appears to be trying to downplay Netanyahu's guilt in releasing jihadists from prison in exchange for getting the PLO to agree to negotiations they don't even deserve to have, and in order to appease the demands of the Obama administration. He says:
The onus for this outrage ought to be on President Obama and Secretary Kerry, who have created this moral dilemma. It is they who should be explaining why they think it is all right to ask Jerusalem to do something that no American leader would dream of doing if the freedom of 9/11 murderers and accomplices were in question, as it is for those who perpetrated similar crimes against Israelis. Doing so encourages terrorism and rewards those who promote violence rather than encouraging peace.
Of course we should be outraged at them. But that still doesn't absolve Netanyahu of any guilt for weakness. We need to expect much higher standards from our own political leaders and not want them to grovel so pathetically to demands for appeasing evil. And if politicians like Netanyahu continue with this, then we can never expect problems to be solved. Period.

Thus, it's regrettable that Tobin is acting as apologist for Netanyahu no matter how much the Obama administration's own guilt in this is.
