NC'S ANTI-SHARIA BILL SHOULDN'T HAVE HAD ANTI-ABORTION STIPULATION ADDED TO IT

This week, North Carolina's state senate came up with a bill for opposing sharia. Inexplicably, the lawmakers also saw fit to attach a bill against abortion to it as well. What was the point of that? Thanks to their idiocy, a leftist columnist named Tina Dupuy saw an opening of opportunism to attack Christianity and claim that it's no better than Islam.

It's possible that the lawmakers who thought to add anti-abortion to the bill did that under the assumption that Muslims would soften their stance, since many of them are theoretically against abortion, unless it's a kaffir's child in question. But they're thinking wrong. And it won't please many conservatives either, since it can embarrass them.

The lawmakers who brought anti-abortion stipulations into the whole debate would do well to drop it and just focus on the problems with Islam itself.
