A liberal I work with was complaining about the gasoline situation on Long Island.
Said it took him until yesterday to find a gas station and be able to fill his tank.
He was really upset that the gas station charged him $4.45/gallon - about .40 cents more than before the storm.
Called him a "GREEDY PRICE-GOUGER!"
Perhaps the gas cost him more?
And why not complain about the fact that under Obama, the price of gasoline HAS DOUBLED!?!?
The thought had never entered his CLOSED liberal mind.
The idea that anti-carbon policies and anti-off-shore drilling policies and anti-drilling on government lands policies and anti-coal polices were even contributing a little bit to higher energy prices had never entered his CLOSED liberal mind.
Thee was only a reactionary knee-jerk response No critical thinking. And when i attempted to address the underlying reasons all energy costs are u and why price spikes during shortages are not a bad thing what I got in response was the typical liberal response to a rational discussion of facts:
"I DON'T WANNA HEAR ABOUT IT!"
The only was socialism defeats us is by keeping its adherents in the dark
That's why they disparage FOXNEWS - THEY WANT TO PREVENT THEIR SYCOPHANTS FROM TUNING INTO FOX BECAUSE:
they know if people tune in that they'll hear BOTH sides and that they'll begin to be weaned from the deceitful party-line.
Further proof of this lies in the fact that Romney CLIMBED in the polls after the debates: when many knee-jerk, closed-minded liberals actually saw Romney un-filtered, they liked him - and what he had to say.
If we want to defeat socialism we need to crack through the liberal control of media and get more if not most Americans to see both sides and think CRITICALLY and refrain from falling back on to knee-jerk responses - like condemnation of price-gougers when liberal policies re more responsible for high gasoline prices.
