WOW: JOSH HAMILTON TIES ONE RECORD AND SETS ANOTHER

Facing the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday night, [JOSH HAMILTON] the Texas Rangers outfielder hit two-run homers in the first, third and seventh innings and added another in the eighth off of Darren O'Day to tie the major league record. He also doubled in the fifth, going 5 for 5 with a career-high eight RBI.
The 18 total bases is a new single-game American League record.
AWESOME!

HAMILTON IS A GOOD GUY:

Hamilton's struggles with drugs and alcohol are well documented. He finally got clean after being confronted by his grandmother, Mary Holt.[56] In May 2008 Hamilton said he had not used drugs or alcohol since October 6, 2005.[1] When giving a brief summary of his recovery, Hamilton says simply: "It's a God thing."[20] He does not shy away from telling his story, speaking to community groups and fans at many functions.[57] He frequently publicly tells stories of how Jesus brought him back from the brink and that faith is what keeps him going. Hamilton also wrote an autobiography called Beyond Belief which explains how he quit drugs and alcohol and found a relationship with God.[54]
WELL DONE JOSH!
