Now they are trying to make a martyr out of Trayvon - who was suspended numerous times from school and was serving a suspension for drugs when he was killed and who witnesses say attacked Zimmerman. AND MAYBE LOT WORSE.
The Left also of course thought Hitler was fine until he broke his pact with Uncle Joe - who was fine with them until Khrushchev cam along.
And they adored Mao.
Some collection of heroes! Mass murderers, murderers, liars.
Trayvon is the least consequential of their heroes, their martyrs, but they are trying mightily to transform into another Mumia - another victim.
And postmodern leftism LOVES those they can portray as victims of "the ruling class."
VICTIMS OF THE RACIST CAPITALIST WHITE RACE AND OF THE WEST AND OF JUDEO-CHRISTIAN CIVILIZATION.
They do so because - in order to motivate people to to tear down their own civilization, our traditions and institutions - they need to make us hate it or at least be embarrassed by it.
That's why they try to turn the criminals into icons and victims: The Left adores criminals because they can - in their twisted amoral Leftist minds - portray them as insurrectionistic enemies of an evil civilization that has repressed our "multi-sexuality", doesn't give us enough "free" things and services, and has polluted Mother Earth.
It's Marcusian and Gramscian - and when they act out on it it's Alinskyite.
- They love these criminals because they are transgressors a norm they hate.
- They love the victims because they can be used to evoke sympathy for their goals among the masses.
DON'T BE DUPED!
If you really want to wipe out racism and repression and poverty (as I do!), then you have to wipe out the Left and Leftism. And that means calling them out when they try to turn the transgressors into heroes and victims.
