A judge in the Italian town devastated by an earthquake in 2009 has ordered seven experts to face a manslaughter trial for allegedly failing to help residents decide if they should evacuate.Corriere della Sera's Web site and other Italian media quoted the judge as saying the defendants "gave inexact, incomplete and contradictory information" about whether smaller tremors felt by L'Aquila residents for days were reason to evacuate.
THIS IS INSANE, AN OUTGROWTH OF SOCIALISM AND THE NANNYSTATE:
NOBODY WANTS TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR OWN LIVES; THEY SEEK TO BE DEPENDENT ON OTHERS AND EVEN BLAME OTHERS FOR THEIR OWN MISFORTUNES.
AWFUL.
WHAT'S NEXT: LYNCHING WEATHERMEN AFTER HURRICANES AND TORNADOES!?!?
1 comment:
When we had our hurricane in 1989, the weather forecaster did not predict it. But people all over the country experienced the severest drop in their barometer ever seen, the mercury fell right to the bottom. So was it justifiable to blame the guy or was it those above him who decided they had more "sophisticated" equipment?
