Initially, the imagery of unidentifiable glistening objects immediately translated to the unimaginable destruction of the tsunami cutting through entire towns witnessed by helicopter yesterday. As a parent, all I could think of was families separated by mundane daily attendance at their job or thier children in classrooms suddenly faced with a catestrophic series of events and unable to communicate or reconnect. Too many lives have been forever changed. Prayers go out for Japan in these dark days to give them strength to go on.
