SARKOZY DOESN'T LIKE BEING COMPARED TO NAZIS BY THE EU

France complains about EU criticism of Gypsy deportations

President Sarkozy's office calls EU Justice Commissioner comments comparing French behavior to WII atrocities as unacceptable.

President Nicolas Sarkozy's office fired back Wednesday at European Commission criticism of France's crackdown on Gypsies, or Roma, saying some of the complaints are unacceptable.

A day earlier, EU Justice Commissioner Viviane Reding had called France's expulsions of Roma to Eastern Europe "a disgrace" — as well as something she "thought that Europe would not have to witness again after the second World War."
NOW SARKOZY KNOWS HOW ISRAEL FEELS NEARLY EVERY WEEK WHEN SHE IS UNFAIRLY COMPARED TO THE NAZIS.

BTW: JUST TO REFRESH REDING'S MEMORY: EUROPE EXPELLED/RELOCATED NEARLY 20 MILLION GERMANS AFTER THE WAR. WIKI:
From 1944 until 1948, between 13.5 and 16.5 million Germans were expelled, evacuated or fled from Central and Eastern Europe. The Statistisches Bundesamt estimates the loss of life at 2.1 million [21]
SO THIS IS A CASE OF THE HUGE EU KETTLE CALLING THE ITTY-BITTY FRENCH POT BLACK.

Yes and no. France is quite right in evicting thousands of criminal illegal aliens, and pretty much all EU citizens agree with them once they learn the truth.
We're all fed up with gypsy camps and the crime sprees that erupt whereever they appear.

But to call the EU responsible for the ethnic cleansing by the Red Army in eastern Europe after WW2 where they drove away any Germans they could find (and many others, like gypsies) is as dishonest as comparing the eviction of these illegals with the Nazi extermination policies (or comparing Israel's programs to combat PLO/Hamas terrorism with the same).

the commies weren't the only ones who threw out their Germans.

i merely pointed out that europe after ww2 "relocated" far more than france has since sarko started his policy.
