Sometime-comedian Janeane Garofalo never passes up an opportunity to slam conservatives or, apparently, Christianity. The Huffington Post gave her an opportunity June 24 to kill two birds with one stone.
In a June 24 interview promoting her upcoming special on a network called EPIX, Garofalo compared the most widely-read book of all time, the Bible, to a Bill O’Reilly autobiography and a children’s book authored by former President Bush.
Marx was dead wrong about religion in general and Judeo-Christianity in particular; in fact, socialism is the opiate of the pseudo-intellectuals.
What truly never ceases to amaze me about pseudo-intellectual leftist scum like Garafoolo, is that they truly BELIEVE in Marxism – and other forms of socialism – despite the fact that in just over 150 years they have all been discredited because they have failed everywhere and every time they’ve ever been employed.
And they deride the 3000 year old Bible, which is the basis for all that is good in Western Civilization - our inalienable Natural Rights & Natural Law, democracy, personal freedom - and personal accountability.
Idiots like Garafooolo ignore the genocidal truth about socialism: Not only does it wipe our wealth and make prosperity creation nearly impossible, in the 20th Century alone, socialism killed more people than Judeo-Christianity killed in the preceding 20 centuries!
