In a new report, the Congressional Research Service says the law may have significant unintended consequences for the “personal health insurance coverage” of senators, representatives and their staff members.
For example, it says, the law may “remove members of Congress and Congressional staff” from their current coverage, in the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program, before any alternatives are available.
The confusion raises the inevitable question: If they did not know exactly what they were doing to themselves, did lawmakers who wrote and passed the bill fully grasp the details of how it would influence the lives of other Americans?
BWAHAHAHAHA!
UNINTENDED BUT COMPLETELY PREDICTABLE BECAUSE THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU:
- WRITE A 2000 PAGE BILL BEHIND CLOSED DOORS ...
- AND DON'T HOLD PROMISED PUBLIC HEARINGS ...
- AND LARD IT UP WITH PORK TO GET VOTES ...
- AND FORCE A VOTE BEFORE IT CAN BE POSTED FOR 5 DAYS AS PROMISED ...
- AND TWIST PEOPLE'S ARMS TO VOTE YES BEFORE THEY'VE READ IT.
THIS AIN'T SMART GOVERNMENT; IT'S THE RESULT OF THUGGERY AND EGOMANIACAL IDEOLOGUES.
OBAMA AND THE DEMOCRATS WILL GET THEIR JUST DESSERTS: WE WILL TAKE BACK CONGRESS THIS NOVEMBER AND REPEAL AND REPLACE THIS MONSTROSITY CALLED OBAMACARE.
A MONSTROSITY WHICH PROVES OBAMA IS THE WORST PRESIDENT THE NATION HAS EVER HAD.

I think this would be rather humorous if it comes out to be true. They should be held under the same laws that they so kindly bestowed upon us. I would love nothing better to see them suffer the same crap that they dumped upon us.
I agree with you, Conservative. I think this is hilarious and it will be interesting to see how they try to get around it. However, they should not be exempt from monstrosities such as Obamacare in the first place. They should be first in line to receive its "awesomeness".
I could not agree with you more. Keep up the good work.
