- AND A FORMER KGB AGENT - AND RUSSIAN BILLIONAIRE - BUYS THE BRITISH NEWSPAPER THE INDEPENDENT, (THE PAPER WHICH PUBLISHES ROBERT FISK'S PROPAGANDA):
The Independent, a British newspaper, was sold for £1 ($1.48) on Thursday to Alexander Lebedev, a Russian billionaire who purchased the London Evening Standard last year for the same price.
Mr. Lebedev, the world’s 488th-richest man, reportedly developed an interest in the British press when he was stationed in London as a K.G.B. agent in the 1980s and was charged with reading the newspapers every day. After the collapse of the Soviet Union he made a fortune in banking.
AND WE HAVE A KGB APPEASING POTUS.
GREAT.
