THESE WERE CAREFULLY TARGETED COUNTER-ATTACKS FOR A ROCKET ATTACK BY GAZANS ON ISRAEL ON THE DAY MESHAAL PROMISED RUSSIA THAT HE'D HALT THEM.
Israeli planes and helicopters mounted at least seven missile attacks on the -ruled Gaza Strip on Friday, destroying what a military spokesman described as munitions sites.Four air strikes blew up two caravans near the town of Khan Younis, witnesses and Hamas officials said. There were no casualties.
DESPITE THIS, THE ANTI-ISRAEL LEFT WHICH DOMINATES THE MSM (AND RUNS THE WHITE HOUSE) MAKES IT SOUND LIKE AN UNPROVOKED OFFENSIVE MANEUVER BY ISRAEL AGAINST INNOCENT GAZANS.
THAT'S A LIE. PROPAGANDA.
- NO DOUBT THIS COUNTER-ATTACK WILL UPSET OBAMA AND BIDEN AND HILLARY.
- ISRAEL IS EXPECTED - BY OBAMA AND THE LEFT - NOT TO COUNTER-ATTACK AND TO MAKE CONCESSIONS TO SHOW THEY WANT PEACE.
- THAT'S NOT ONLY ANTI-ISRAEL, IT MAKES US ALL LESS SAFE:
- GIVING INTO TO TERROR REWARDS TERROR AND ENCOURAGES MORE.

Hezbollah’s fighters rearm thanks to Tehran:
Pentagon VIOLA GIENGER, WASHINGTON
April 21, 2010
Iran views Hezbollah ’'as an essential partner for advancing its regional policy objectives’', the Pentagon said
Israel intercepted a vessel in November carrying 60 tonnes of weapons for Hezbollah, including rockets and anti-tank shells, according to the report submitted to Congress. Iran is also training Hezbollah fighters in camps in Lebanon and provides as much as $US200 million ($218 million) a year in funding, the Pentagon said.
’'It is clear from this report that the Department of Defence has a thorough understanding of the potential threats posed by Iran’s military capabilities,’’ said Missouri Democrat Ike Skelton, chairman of the House armed services committee.

Russia must have role in Europe-based missile defence system, says Nato chief
Plans for a missile defence shield in Europe has been an issue between Washington and Moscow since the Bush administration proposed basing missile interceptors in Poland and a new radar system in the Czech Republic.
Barack Obama shelved the plan, proposing instead a phased ”proven, cost-effective” system using land- and sea-based interceptors against Iran’s short- and medium-range missile threat. Suspicions remained in the Kremlin where officials warned this month that Russia would pull out of the new strategic arms reduction treaty signed in Prague by Obama and Russian president Dmitry Medvedev if America’s missile defence plans threatened Russia.
Russian officials said the project could eventually enable the US to carry out a first nuclear strike against Russia with no risk of retaliation. Washington insists the shield is designed to protect Europe and the US from Iran and poses no threat to Russia.

Option of striking Iran never off the table-Pentagon
http://uk.reuters.com/article/idUKN2120851620100421
”We are not taking any options off the table as we pursue the pressure and engagement tracks,” Pentagon Press Secretary Geoff Morrell said. ”The president always has at his disposal a full array of options, including use of the military … It is clearly not our preferred course of action but it has never been, nor is it now, off the table.”
Rockets fired at Israeli resort of Eilat -reports
Thu Apr 22, 2010 9:36am BST
JERUSALEM (Reuters) – Two rockets were fired from Jordan at Israel’s Red Sea resort of Eilat Thursday but landed in Jordanian territory, apparently without causing any injuries, Israel’s Haaretz newspaper reported on its website.
The Israeli military had no immediate comment.

Rockets fired at Israel fall in Jordan – source
Thu Apr 22, 2010 2:18pm BST
In Jerusalem, the Israeli military said security forces searched Eilat after explosions and flashes of light were reported, but found no evidence of a security-related incident.
http://uk.reuters.com/article/idUKTRE63L12O20100422?pageNumber=2&virtualBrandChannel=0
The incident took place nine days after Israel told its nationals holidaying in Egypt’s Sinai, across the border from Eilat, to leave, saying militants planned to kidnap Israelis.
Israeli media reports said earlier that Israel suspected the rockets were fired by militants in the Sinai, but Egyptian sources denied that rockets were fired from there.
In 2005, rockets were fired at U.S. warships in Aqaba port but missed their target and killed a Jordanian soldier on land. A group claiming links to al Qaeda said it was behind the attack.
Two years later, a Palestinian suicide bomber infiltrated through the Sinai and killed three people at an Eilat bakery.
Jordan, which made peace with Israel in 1994, is one of a handful of Arab countries to have diplomatic ties with Israel.
Those ties were frayed by Israel’s crackdown in 2000 on a Palestinian uprising in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

There are approximately 4,800 IDF widows and 8,000 children who suffered the loss of a parent who died in the service of the IDF. The most recent widow is Shlomit Peretz, whose husband Eliraz was killed in Gaza last month.
Nearly half of the widows said that raising their children after the loss of their husbands has been the most difficult challenge for them.
Despite the pain, Israel will end Remembrance Day on Monday night with the beginning of celebrations of the 62 years since the modern State of Israel was established. (IsraelNationalNews.com)
