You may be right, I could see Obama bombing Iran in October should Israel not do it before then. An October surprise is always possible and Obama is, after all an astute politican who will do anything to retain his grasp on power. A grasp, that would slip should he lose total control of congress.

If I were a betting man, I'd place my bet on the president NOT preemptively attacking any country. Period.
He'll let Israel do his dirty work, then demonize them when they do it.
