OBAMACARE: OBAMA'S MASK IS OFF; SCOTT BROWN'S HELMET IS ON

THE CORNER:
Brown: ‘Important’ to Repeal [Robert Costa]

Sen. Scott Brown (R., Mass.) tells National Review Online that it’s “important” for the GOP to fight to repeal Obamacare.

“It has morphed into this total takeover, with a complete lack of bipartisan support,” he says. “People are disgusted with the process. If the Democrats keep doing what they’re doing, they’ll be disregarding the will of the voters.”

Brown adds that anger about Obamacare is not just growing amongst conservatives.

“I don’t think it’s just conservatives,” he says. “I think that is the mistake folks are making. Many Americans are upset about the process, the overspending, the lack of accountability, the backroom deals, the Medicare cuts, and the takeover of student loans.”
MORE FROM DINOCRAT: THE OLD DAYS THEN, AND NOW...
The Washington Examiner describes how things were when Social Security and Medicare were passed in a truly bi-partisan fashion — 64% of GOP senators and 80% of Republican congressmen supported Social Security, for example:
both of those landmark programs were approved with strong bipartisan support in both the Senate and House.

The Senate vote on Social Security in 1935 was 77-6, with 64 Democrats being joined by 14 Republicans.

In the House, the 373 votes for Social Security included 77 Republicans.

When Medicare passed in 1965, the 68-21 Senate vote included 13 Republicans, while 65 Republicans were among the 313 affirmative House votes.
Perhaps it is no wonder then that ramming through the healthcare bill has not helped Obama’s poll ratings. CNN: “health care was the policy area that drew the second highest negative rating, with 58 percent registering disapproval. The highest negative rating was 62 percent for his handling of the federal deficit.”
MORE FROM ME:

In 1935 - the 74th congress - the US Senate had 69 Dems and 31 GOP’ers, so nearly 50% of the GOP was with the Soc Sec legislation. The House Had Democrats 322 and Republicans 103. So nearly 80% of the GOP in the House voted for the legislation.

In the 89th Congress - in 1965 - the Senate had 33 GOP’ers, so 33% voted for the Medicare legislation. The House had 136 GOP’ers so about 48% voted for it.

Civil Rights legislation had very high GOP %, too.

They were all bi-partisan. As was NAFTA - another huge piece of legislation.

Obamacare gets a big fat 0% of the GOP - and this says EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT OBAMA.

INSTEAD OF BEHAVING LIKE THE POST-PARTISAN HE CLAIMED HE WAS DURING THE CAMPAIGN, AND CRAFTING POST-PARTISAN REFORM BILL, HE AND PELOSI AND REID RAMMED THROUGH A SOCIALIST BOONDOGGLE.

NOT ONLY DID OBAMA DISREGARD ANY POSSIBILITY OF BIPARTISANSHIP, HE ALSO IGNORED THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE.

INCREDIBLY: OBAMA AND REID AND PELOSI AND RAHM DID THIS AFTER THE ELECTION OF SCOTT BROWN.

  • CONTRARY TO AL SHARPTON'S VIEW, OBAMA DID NOT RUN AS A SOCIALIST.
  • WHEN OBAMA WAS CALLED ONE BY JOE THE PLUMBER HE SCOFFED AT JOE AND THE MSM SCOFFED WITH HIM.
  • PEOPLE IN THE MIDDLE GAVE THE TALL BARITONE WITH THE BRIGHT SMILE AND CALM TONE THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT.
  • THEY RIGHTLY FEEL BURNED. ESPECIALLY THAT THIS CAME AFTER SCOTT BROWN'S ELECTION.

WELL, OBAMA SOWED THE WIND.

NOW HE AND THE DEMOCRATS WILL REAP THE WHIRLWIND.

THE FORCES THAT ELECTED SCOTT BROWN ARE NOT DISSIPATING; THEY ARE GATHERING STRENGTH:

Scott Brown's victory still is lighting up the day

Scott Brown's victory is still lighting up the day

Scott Brown's victory still is lighting up the day

And our goal goes shining on

Glory, Glory! Hallelujah!

Glory, Glory! Hallelujah!

Glory, Glory! Hallelujah!

Our goal is shining on

He captured Massachusetts with pickup truck and truth

He frightened old Mizz Coakley till she trembled

through and through

They thought he was a loser, but now they’re the ones who’re through

Our goal is shining on

Glory, Glory! Hallelujah!

Glory, Glory! Hallelujah!

Glory, Glory! Hallelujah!

Our goal is shining on

Scott Brown won because we all want to be free,

Scott Brown won because we all want to be free,

Scott Brown won because we all want to be free,

And our goal is shining on!

Glory, Glory! Hallelujah!

Glory, Glory! Hallelujah!

Glory, Glory! Hallelujah!

Our goal is shining on

The stars above in Heaven are looking kindly down

The stars above in Heaven are looking kindly down

The stars above in Heaven are looking kindly down

On the win of old Scott Brown

Glory, Glory! Hallelujah!

Glory, Glory! Hallelujah!

Glory, Glory! Hallelujah!

Our goal is shining on

We will drink Tea in the morning, We will drink Tea in the night

We will drink Tea in the darkness, We will drink Tea by light

We'll drink Tea before voting, And we'll drink Tea for the fight!

OUR GOAL IS SHINING ON!

Re: Obama's mask is off ...

I heard Victor Davis Hanson on the Dennis Miller Radio Show tonight saying that he now sees that Obama is a hardcore leftist. He was laughing that it turns out "Hannity was right. Hannity is like a prophet. I was laughing at him and Glenn Beck last year when they kept telling us about Obama and Jeremiah Wright and Saul Alinsky, but they were right."

Like I said, Hanson was laughing.

Frankly, he should not be laughing. It is not a laughing matter that he and his fellow right-wing intellectuals urged calm in the face of the madness that is Obama. And, only now can they see what we've seen the whole time.

Hanson should not be laughing.

He should be crying and begging for our forgiveness.
