Israeli security forces have been involved in clashes scattered throughout east Jerusalem.
Of course this response is orchestrated on the heels of the US administrations posturing towards Israel.

Dozens of Palestinians clashed with Israeli police in East Jerusalem after Hamas declared a "day of rage" to protest Israel's consecration of an ancient synagogue in the city one day earlier.
Palestinians hurled stones at police and burned tires and trash bins in several areas of East Jerusalem, which Israel captured along with the West Bank during the 1967 Six-Day War.

Any day Palestinians can protest and cause violenece is a good day for them.
They're not doing their job in the Holy Land if they're not making Trouble!
So don't be so hard on them...Unless you love the land of Israel!

Astute . . It's time that America backed and helped to enforce a settlement of the Israeli-Palestinian dispute. Yes, it can be done but Israel can not do it alone. As one very small nation against a huge medieval mob of dysfunctional desert arabs that have no national home, Israel is ultimately doomed if the free world doesn't stand behind them and
act to enforce the peace there.

So, yeah, I guess it just isn't in their nature to be industrious. And that would be fine, except that what else is in their nature is to hate and attack those who are. Ishmael is, after all, called "פרא אדם" in the Torah.
